I am not sure, I didn't get a chance to weigh it... however I would guesstimate around 15-20 pounds.

Worked on the wiring harness for the engine today, also got the oil cooler mounted.

I really like your appreciation of the smallest details. All the parts you are putting in that car are better than new. Looks amazing and can't wait to see what it ends up looking like when you piece it back together.

Thanks for all the complements, its amazing how much time you can spend on some of the smallest things.

I did more wiring today. I figured out all the replacement switches for the lights, wipers, signals, windows, mirrors and so on, so I am happy every thing worked after thinning out the car's harness. I also installed the engines wiring harness, and mounted the ignition system. I ran out of heat shrink tubbing and switches so I will pick some up tomorrow and hopefully start wrapping the cars harness and clean it up.

Got a good bit done today, coils mounted and hooked up.

Computer mounted and hooked up.

Dash wiring almost done (need to mount a couple relays and tidy it up) and the seat mounted.

Installed all the intercooler piping, however I am missing two t-bolt clamps....

And thankfully all the switches/electronics work....

...THAT ROCKS! You should track down a member named CODEBLUE. Hangs out in the NW section. They would LOVE what you've done. expecially with that color.

You don't have to use a special hood, intake temps have been 7-15 degrees over ambient after intercooler.

I come and steal your car while you sleep Dude that thing looks bad ***. What are you using for a rear end and what did you swap it to. Becouse I am tempted to do a 5 lug swap with bigger brakes on myne but I dont know if I really want to get into it right now since I am already spending quite a bit of cash on the motor rebiuld and stuff and I also have that bad thing called while I got it apart might as well...............

Thanks!

The rear end is stock with mosure axles in a 5x114.3. If your happy with the tire/wheel combo on your car I would not bother with the brakes for now. The stock SE brakes do just fine, you just have to not cheap out on the brake pads, get some stainless lines, and some DOT4 brake fluid. (with the new pads make sure to bed them in)

Good luck,
Kevin

Well the trany blew about a while back, and I finally found one to replace it so the old one had to come out. Here are some carnage shots of it...

It still had a couple of teeth still on it. lol
