haven't maxed out the 7 but before that i had this engine in a '75 808 with a speedo that went to 130. i ran it up to bout 120 then let off. it was still pulling tho so i would've made the 130 mark with on problem.

 

210km/h or about 130mph. Got some serious front end shake so I let off fairly quick. Was in Indiana at 2am, so I decided to see what she would do. I attribute the shake to the stock steering box and poor high speed front end aerodynamics. This was before redoing the suspension/steering/engine. I want to try again with some aero improvements, but at a sanctioned event.

160mph in a friends ported 12A with a downdraft webber.
This speed was determined by math and frankly I have never really been confident in the accuracy of the formula so I am not absolutely sure.
