150mph in my 91 300zx when i had it, for about 3 miles..... gave me way more or a rush then jumping out of a plane at 14000 ft ever did.

 

new top speed for me, 145 in my avenger racing an older civic a few weeks ago. pretty good for a stock 12 year old car with a 150mph top out.

me and my brother both had GSL SE's his oiriginal 13b F.I. mine 12a carb..hit 140 for 30 minutes straight...

 

hit 150 in a corvette on the freeway... In my seven i've only gone 115...

 

248km on a R1 Yamaha...took three days in the hot sun for the volcano in the seat cover to go back flat!

 

120 mph in the 79 LE before I backed off and it was still pulling - Darn Holley, lol. The front end felt so light that it felt like it was gonna launch!

I buried the needle in the 69 El Camino - speedometer stops at 120

 

I've buried the 120mph speedo in my '85. No clue how fast I was actually going. I'll take my cycling GPS with me next time to get an accurate reading.

 

Haha...I rule this thread. Fast enough for me to not know exactly and still be able to say FAST....2000 unrestricted Hayabusa, full exhaust, power commander, etc, etc.....

im not much of a speed demon. fastest i've ever gone was 190km/h (about 118mph) in my rx8. I will likely never go that fast again...the speeding laws in ontario are pretty brutal, not to mention the roads around here arent nice enough to go very fast without serious consequences. Oh, and once i went 160km/h (100mph) in my 3 cylinder geo metro when i was in highschool. that was downhill with the wind at my back. lol. and let me tell you, that was frightening. I couldnt beleive the car would go that fast and it wouldnt stop. the brakes were so weak. lol.

 

In my old *** rx prolly 120-130.
But my buddy has a built srt-4 that dynoed at 400hp 425tq at wheels and we pegged the 160 speedo and what he figured is when we ran out of gear it was around 172mph!

 

A little less then 112 mph.

Most insane acceleration experience - BMW K1200R from 20-110mph, top of red line in 2nd gear...

I think 120mph is enough for me. I just prefer to get there very quickly.

 

206mph in a porsche 911 GT1
130mph in my almost stock FC
178mph in a heavily modded evo 8 MR
160ish mph in my dads old suzuki bandit 1200s

edit: going over 200mph is seriously a life changing experience.

 

How the hell did you get a chance to drive/ride in a 911 GT1 at that kind of speed?

 

an old family friend had one. they were retired and just raced it for fun essentially. (pretty rich) they let me drive it at brainerd intl raceway one time when i was up there for the weekend helping in the pit.

 

That is a wet dream. I wish I could be that lucky, although, I don't think I'd have the ***** for 200+ mph.
