Show me your alarm antenna!

I'm debating where/how to mount the antenna for my alarm system, as well a windshield antenna that I bought for the radio (see picture). I'd like to see pictures of where you've mounted yours and how you ran the wires.

Thanks,
Rich

I have a remote lock setup from BD and I just let the white wire antenna dangle from the control box mounted behind the center console on the back of the radio mount. That way its all out of sight and hidden, no mess.

Works from 40 ot 50 feet away no problem.

I think I see why there were no responses before. People were wondering why I would need to know where to mount a piece of wire LOL. My antenna actually looks like a small remote and has wires running to it, and they recommend taping it up high on the windshield. Range is supposed to be up to 1/4 mile. It's a Viper 5002 (I think)...I'll try to get a picture later.

Thanks,
Rich

Could you run it through the A pillar? That is actually hollow.

That's one thing I'm thinking about...also might run it under the headliner with the interior light wires. But I really wanted to see how others had done it so I could see how it looks, because no matter where I put it there will be at least short sections of wiring showing.

up a pillar, under head liner, and replace the rear window sprayer. if you dont have a rear window sprayer, drill a whole.

I mounted mine right next to my radio antenna. I have plenty of distance with it under the tinted area right above the rear view mirror. Its easy to tuck the wires away there also. RIght up against/behind the headliner.

Thanks for the input guys...I appreciate you taking the time. But...I think I understand the possible locations...my original post said "I'd like to see PICTURES of where you've mounted yours and how you ran the wires." Anyone have pictures? I just want to see what it looks like in various positions. I don't want the wires to be an eyesore.

Thanks,
Rich
