Motor sawaps
Mines original which you saw and heard at DGRR. Fairly healthy engine, if I don't say so myself.
Maybe OP should repost in the V8 section if thats the kind of swaps he refers to.

i'm guessing he means any engine swap outside of the original engine of the car. as in my case, originally a 12a car running '74 4 port 13b. really wasn't a swap as mine had no engine when i got it.
maybe he means doing a 1:1 engine swap. I stuffed an atkins rebuilt engine into mine. Other than the water pump housing cracking around where the bolt goes in, things went smooth except for some stupid **** I did. For example, Atkins notes say to paint the pulley to show where the timing marks are. I removed the pulley, painted the leading and trailing marks red and white, and didn't put the pulley on right. So I lost the where top dead center was. There's no need to mark the pulley's timing marks! Something else I should of done was take lots of pictures!! Instead I labeled everything using white tape. Great idea except the white tape got covered with grease and grime. It took from halloween to thanksgiving to get everything right. Most that time was spent searching/waiting for the water pump -thermostat housing. I found one for $20 on e-bay, but I had to wait 1 week for the auction to end.
