First Generation Calendars nearing completion!

Hey everyone -

I'm not sure if this is allowed here, but if it is, here you go;

Us first generation RX7 owners put together a calendar for 2009.

The previews of each month are here;

http://shoandgo.com/gallery2/cal_preview

The price is $18 shipped for one in the US.
$15 plus shipping for one if not in US.
$15 each plus shipping for 2 or more (US or non-US).

I plan on making this an option for second and third generations next year, depending on how well this one works.

Would anyone be interested in one?

Here is a link to the first generation thread;

https://www.rx7club.com/1st-gen-general-discussion-207/2009-1st-gen-rx7-calendars-100-avail-ready-ship-asap-722532/

THESE WILL BE OUT BEFORE CHRISTMAS!

Just let me know.
Thanks,
Chris.

I hope these will be available in 2 weeks or so. I am going Monday to get a proof and give the "okay" to be printed.

IanS We need info like paypal addy or where to send the checks or something.

PayPal will be set up in a few days. I am looking for another webhost as I am not a big fan of where I am currently at. I am also switching my main domain from shoandgo.com to theglogspot.com. The addy will most likely be Sales @ theglogspot DOT com. I will post within the next few days/

jshiz How long are you going to be selling them?

I will be selling them until they run out. I have 75 available and I believe 45 or so are spoken for. If there is a higher demand, I will see how much to get some more printed. The smaller the batch, the more it is to print.

MattG Man I totally need to get on more often, no love for the limited edition in there!

Matt, I believe the month of November (Rays 79 Limited) is a Limited http://shoandgo.com/gallery2/cal_preview/nov . If you mean yours, did you send one? haha.

IanS Its pretty BA that Rich's ride is in may, which is when he bought his car for his b-day. Nice lookin rides everybody!!! Im sooo buying one of these.

Ian, at first I placed his car there because of the colors. "April showers bring May flowers" remember, haha. It wasn't til the proofs were up that he gave me the run-down on how good of a choice that was for his car!

wotnartd Damn, if I had known about this, I'd have submitted some photos. Always next year, I hope.

This year went pretty good, so far. If most of them sell, I will be doing it again next year. I enjoy print, I went to college for it, only to realize I dont want to be behind a monitor all day long. Give me some webbed basement and a furnace and I am completely happy, haha!

OnlyOnThurs ******* SWEET! man the calender looks great! WOOTZ im in it!!! thanks again for considering my 1st gen!

No problem, man! Sorry about the half page thing. I wanted to include both of those images on the calendar but the quality was a tid bit poor for a full page. I think it looks a little better as a smaller image.

Please, help spread the word of this thread. I will update this and the stickied thread that everyone seems to ignore,

Chris

Update 11/29/08

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and even better black friday, haha.

I received the proof for the calendar and I was pretty happy with it. I made a few adjustments to the images (lightened them up a bit as they were a little dark).

I went to the printers to see his new shop, it is pretty nice. Great new people he is working with, too.

The calendar was printed on 100# glossy paper. This means that the month pages are equally as thick as the cover. One of the reasons I chose this route is because rather than throwing the calendar away at the end of the year, you can cut the month(s) that you like out and hang them somewhere. It's just a nice little thing that makes your money go further.

I also told the printer to cut a hole at the bottom of the calendar, in the middle, so it will be easier to hang. I always hated pushing a thumbtack through a new page every month.

Payment Options; There will be a few ways to do this.

PayPal - My PayPal is sales @ shoandgo DOT com. I'm not like most people, I will not charge the 3% that PayPal takes. I am doing this calendar as a favor and to be known to help around this site. A good reputation is always nice, especially if I do this again next year for all generations. If not all, the first generation will probably be done again.

Money Order - Best way if sending through the mail. When received, I can ship ASAP. You're order will be already packed and ready to go to get to you very soon.

Personal Check - I don't usually like these, I would prefer a Money Order. Shipment can be made much faster as I don't have to wait for the check to clear.

Please contact me before sending any payment! I would like to communicate by either PM, Email, AIM, phone, anything before I receive an order. This is to make sure you get EXACTLY what you want, to the correct location.

Quick Shipping Information Update!!

To those of you who are outside the USA; When I received the calendar proof, it was heavier by a few ounces than the calendar I was basing shipping prices on. Would it be fine to raise it $2, up to $20 shipped for one? I am splitting the difference in cost with shipping. The price to ship from my location to Australia and Denmark is roughly $9+. I would feel guilty if I charged you full price, but I am hoping you understand. If not, please contact me. We'll see what we can do. If purchasing more than one; I will work a deal again on shipping. I will most likely go in halves on shipping price. Does that sound fair as well?

Thanks everyone,
Chris.

Update 12/13/08, Pre-orders mailed!

$80 later, the following orders have been shipped ;

- Ray
- Rich
- Thayer
- Joseph
- Kim
- Michael
- Allan
- Mr Lau
- Mark

If I missed you, let me know!

Order now if you want them before Christmas! The orders that were shipped today should be in shortly. 5 days in US and Canada, maybe a bit longer across seas. Denmark is expensive by the way! haha.

Thanks,
Chris.
