Debadged - What the hell did I just buy?
Now dudes, I used to think the same way about drum brakes as you guys do, I gave away a couple of those drum rear ends because I thought discs were better.
But then I got to thinking about it and doing some research.
Other than out on the race track, the drum rear brakes are just fine, even better than discs and pads for braking power.
Of course since they brake better than discs they also heat up more, which is their only disadvantage.
But if you drive like I do, minimum brakes, maximum acceleration, then the rear drums are just fine.
And Super Cool to look at, check out the pic.
So I think J.R. has got himself an upgraded GSL, nice find J.R.!.

But I think the car just suffered some catastrophic event (LSD went out) and a drum rear just happened to be hanging around so the PO just slapped it in.
As for drums vs disc... Stick with oe. Sorry you brake upgrade people, I do not agree with you. Yall slapping huge brakes on a car without any regards to the maths or sciencies that went into the original construction. I'd love to do a 60 to 0 race with an "upgraded brake" guys any day of the week. My properly adjusted and maintained system with good tires is more than capable of stopping my car. All that aside I'm sure there are some that have essentially dropped an FB body on an F1 car they are the exception.
