8-2-11 OGTA meeting

Yep, very different cultures, us OGTA's and them YGTB's.
Still, we all drive rotaries and it gives me a chance to educate those young guys about the superiority of 12As, carbs, X wheels and the like.
It's always nice to see new folks and new cars. But we haven't seen a lot of new Old School lately, maybe in September.

Sorry I missed out on this one. Looks like it was one of those rare meets where Ray
actually shows up
Those FCs get riced out because they are ugly to begin with, so any bling helps
distract the eye from the form.

So true about the FC's, Mazda took a wrong turn back in the mid-80's. But then, so did almost every other car company, just about everything made since then has no soul. (a few exceptions, of course, Lotus, a few exotics).
If any of you dudes are in the Atlanta area in early September, mark the 9-6-11 meet down on your calendars. It's usually a good one, as folks get back in town, get started in school, hunker in for the fall.
