OT but i felt like mentioning.. $30 a foot for some gold reflective tape? LOL! aluminum already has heat reflective characteristics which is why the piping is made of aluminum!

I just spent a hundred bucks on gold heat reflective from pegasus racing... LOL

Aluminum conducts heat pretty well actually. There is no doubt in my mind that the gold wrap works. I've seen it first hand.

Psh thats nothing...the gold heat shielding Ive seen a lot of guys use(even on "historic" race cars) is $50/ft, now that adds up fastttt

...its a full HKS T04Z kit... (collected all the parts for almost 2 years...turbine/comp housing, manifold, heatshield, flanges, pipes etc., CHRA, air filter, hoses are new)

To Laz93RX7, just curious why you went from a FMIC to a SMIC? I feel like my SMIC heat soaks too much.

I didn't use any hose at all for the top filter. I just stuck the filter to the end of the pipe.
