IRP work in progress.
3600 degrees satin black ceramacoated parts.
Chrome accented pieces galore (can't really see in pics).

G, all the wiring will get cleaned up and loomed. That's what happens when a body shop messes around in your engine bay

And I think we've decided on red for the third color, ie his samco radiator hoses and R1 strut bar.

I was gonna rock a satin engine bay, now I think I'm going to change my mind.

Beautiful work, but not what I'm looking for.

Wondering f the pictures aren't doing it justice.

Any chance of higher quality pictures?

Thanks guys and thank you IRP for the work. I never gave much attention to engine bays but Rich set me straight. Yea outside of the paint, the body shop did me no favors. The pics don't do the bay justice. Only one of the pics was from an actual camera. I believe the rest were from phones. Tom has some nice pics of the engine but he refuses to post them! I do have one more pic but it doesn't do the engine bay justice.

You're right Benny. I kind of wanted the actual engine bay to kind of fade in to the darkness and satin black is so easy to maintain.

To be honest, I wanted the engine bay to be TGM like the rest of the car but it would have been to much to do for the bodyshop. They canned as much satin black in the bay and IRP finished the rest when the motor was out. It turned out much better in the end.

As someone who has spent ample time slaving over the engine bay in person, I think you've hit the nail on the head

Next time Tommy the Bagelman/King of the LED Tails is at the shop I'll have him snap some shots with his billy badass camera.

My contribution:

Here's what mine looks like right now, just ignore the stock air box and intercooler, i have an M2 replica air box and a Pettit Cool Charge III that i will put in after getting it registered and inspected in PA.
