Tragic News - Puresports burns in fire

I'm sad to report that Puresports (formerly SPD), in Ramona California has burned in a fire. I don't know many details but all the shop equipment and cars parked inside were lost. Including the cars of several of my friends.

The owner, Seth, is one of the nicest guys I know and it's a shame to see this happen. This is a huge loss to the owner, employees and RX7 community as a whole. Let's give them our support.

My car left the shop two weeks ago. (They did a great job too)

I feel very sorry for all of the owners of those cars. Was there any type of insurance that is going to cover the loss for Seth or any of the owners? Does anyone know the exact cause of the fire?

It seems the fire was started by an electrical fault in the wiring in the wall of the building. This would indicate that the building owner (landlord) is responsible. I'm sure Seth, the landlord and most of the car owners have insurance so it'll all get straightened out eventually.

I'm sure it will be tough for some vehicle owners to prove the value of their vehicles. There were $3000 blue book FCs in there with $20K in mods.

That's true. Losing a car like that when it's older with a lot of mods can end up really biting you in the ***. I hope that the car owners don't get screwed over by their insurance companies too bad.

btw, how's your back doing? tell me you got it checked out.

I crashed emily over the weekend, so I'm pretty bruised up. I can relate to having some back pains right about now.

Wow, that's professional. What did Seth ever do to YOU that warrants such a immature comment? We'll all have a good laugh if your business burns.

Karma police have their eye on you. . . . .
