RX7.com still running?

It's been forever since I bought from anyone and thought RP was still a great place to go. But I placed an order on Saturday and followed up with an email Monday asking about order status and haven't heard anything. Credit card hasn't been charged either. Any ideas? Does it just take a few days?

Yes, they are open.

Here's my experience.

A little while ago (2-4 months ago) I orderd a bonez peice for my fb. Got my confirmation email. Then nothin, I waited a week and called. Couldn't reach them, so I started searching the internet, found a phone number for a shop in garland tx called rotary performance. I got in touch with those people and they said they were not connected to rx7.com anymore and "we just split ways like 2 days ago, keep calling, its been rough" (I didn't ask what happened).

Anyway, I finally caught up to the rx7.com guy (ari?) He's really cool, apologized and told me they've moved and have gotten really late on orders, emails, phone calls etc. He and i talked quite a while, he said keep checking thenwebsite, we're gonna add new things and update it, i said thats good the website hasnt changed much since i was a kid, he said "oh god, thats embarrassing" lol. He had my order out that day and included a little keychain. Got my order a couple days later, couldn't be happier.

More recently, I was so happy with my bonez peice I orderd one for my fc, I called them today and talked to ari (ok so it took a few calls) to make sure they fit vert models, we talked a little about it. I like ari, he's enthusiastic and seems knowledgable. He seems really really busy. I orderd it today, if I here anything from them in a week I,ll call.

That's not too bad. I've been looking at getting a race pipe from them as they seem to be the only place that sells them, but wasn't sure if it was going to take forever or not to receive.

I think you'll be pleased. Ari called me again today, told me they didn't have the tshirt I orderd. I told him to just cancel it (the tshirt). He told me my order should ship today, I haven't gotten a tracking number yet though.

I don't mind if they're a bit slow. I'm not expecting them to be Amazon and get stuff out and shipped super quick. Not everybody can do that. I just didn't want a 3 week or long turn around on something I purchase.

Im good friends with both Ari and Chris. Here is the short of it. RP has underwent an a restructuring model change. In short Chris and Ari are no longer the same business. Ari had decided to do parts only. Where as Chris is doing the Service and tuning part. They essestially split up and now run their own part of the business. If you notice there are two different phone numbers.

Chris is doing some neat stuff with custom manifods, turbo setups and such. They tuned my car not long ago and it runs well. Ari has been able to find me parts that I needed. Mary is still there and sweet as ever.

Cool. I'm not getting anything custom or anything which I know would take time to fabricate.

I'd trade my Speed 3 in in a heartbeat for a Fiesta ST, but it's just too small for my incoming baby to be in. So I'm stuck with my high hp wagon instead. Damn my luck.

I had a 2010 MS3. Loved it. Tq delivery was exceptional. The Fiesta is just so much more balanced.

I have an 08 and it's modded quite a bit to make more power, and now it's near undriveable without veering off to the right when the TQ hits. I haven't driven the Fiesta ST, but I drove the Focus ST and I loved it. Very smooth power delivery and handled very well. I assume the Fiesta is just as good.

I ordered some stuff a couple of week ago, got a confirmation email and then nothing since. Even sent an email asking about the order. Still no reply.

I just ordered a race pipe from the yesterday and it's already shipped. I wonder if it depends on if they have to fabricate what you ordered or not.
