I'm sad to report that Puresports (formerly SPD), in Ramona California has burned in a fire. I don't know many details but all the shop equipment and cars parked inside were lost. Including the cars of several of my friends.

The owner, Seth, is one of the nicest guys I know and it's a shame to see this happen. This is a huge loss to the owner, employees and RX7 community as a whole. Let's give them our support.

My car left the shop two weeks ago. (They did a great job too)

I feel very sorry for all of the owners of those cars. Was there any type of insurance that is going to cover the loss for Seth or any of the owners? Does anyone know the exact cause of the fire?

It seems the fire was started by an electrical fault in the wiring in the wall of the building. This would indicate that the building owner (landlord) is responsible. I'm sure Seth, the landlord and most of the car owners have insurance so it'll all get straightened out eventually.

I'm sure it will be tough for some vehicle owners to prove the value of their vehicles. There were $3000 blue book FCs in there with $20K in mods.

That's true. Losing a car like that when it's older with a lot of mods can end up really biting you in the ***. I hope that the car owners don't get screwed over by their insurance companies too bad.

Sounds like the KARMA gods found him................as they say, what comes around goes around.........THEY DESERVED IT IMO. Sucks for the car owners. The last thing I would do is support ********.....I guess the game they where running caught up to them. KARMA ALWAYS DOES.

I help people and have nothing but friends, none of which I have shook hands on a deal and backed out of. Find one mo fo with a bad thing to say about me, and I will give ya 20 spot. Seth is a scum bag, he got what was comming to him. Too bad for the innocent car owners, they did nothing wrong. But as for SPD AKA Puresports, they are liars......plain and simple. And the owe money out the ***. If you need more info look SPD on the better business bureau website. Anyone dealing with those scammers are idiots. Hate to point it out but how would you feel if your car was burn and you had to find out on a forum........Sorry to hear your luck bradd15, but i goes to show the people you are dealing with if you find out your car is toast on the forum..........what a ******* joke. So, if your business burned, you'd be able to contact all of your customers who were effected, because you keep all of your business records including all of your customers names, phone numbers, etc at home or another location "just in case," right?

Come on, now isn't the time to bash the guy. You're a competing business who is probably riddled with glee right now, hoping to cash in on this guy's loss. VERY professional. . . . .

They screwed RX-tuner out of 4 grand for advertising. They got there ads run, but refuse to pay the bill, the thread is gone due Seth being afaid of the TRUTH COMING OUT. Dont run your mouth unless you know the iggy. They are scam artists.
