well... this is my first, & likely my only post over here.. but the registration process was worth it just to share what I have witnessed & experienced..

1.) Seth was terrible at customer attentiveness & communication. I wanted to throw money at him & he never replied or acknowledged.

2.) there are at least 5 if not 10+ memebers of the 323/GTX community that lost $500+ with him over a GB he never came clean on... FACT... no arguements, no BS.. FACT he walked away with their money.. HE STOLE THEIR MONEY

3.) Changing company names, screen/forum names, playing games & such is a RED flag.

4.) the fire is SHADY at best given JUST the 323 fiasco... doing very little research there are LOTS more complaints than what have been issued/levied with the BBB

5.) Karma/Fate is a biotch... Seth... you have to live with what you know you did..

6.) for all those who lost.. I am truely sorry & feel your pain. I have lost a car to a shop fire. I have nearly lost customer cars to a tornado.. I know the empty, sick, hollow feeling... best of luck!

7.) They won't have insurance to cover all those cars.. dont kid yourselves. I carry $1.5m in shop insurance & it nearly bankrupts me some months.. The reality is that shops have you sign a work order for a reason... there is fine print... that "we are not responsible for theft, fire, vandalism while your car is with us (usually called Comp insurance claims)" not trying to be a dick.. just being honest... I cover anything that happens & I pay for it every month & my customer's pay for it in higher shop rates & fees... truth hurts.

8.) For those that lost cars: your insurance companies will go after THEIR insurance company... if you are lucky/fortunate, your insurance has a "pay out until recovery" clause & will carry the burden for you.. but if they do... you have been paying for it & you know it.. IE: riders for stereo, performance/appearance parts etc... not likely in most cases is my experience.. part of my customer profile (paper & electronic) is a copy of every car's insurance card. No card, no work without a full waiver... I dont want to be where they are now.

9.) Looting/Pilaging: all you f*ckers should be strung up by the ***** or nipples & flogged.. end of statement...

10.) all the "forum jockeys" who have more time to sit in their underwear & cast comments, judgements, & sentances on others.. bugger off... until you run a business, deal with every 3rd business trying to screw your potential customers making YOU look bad for being in the same industry... again.. bugger the flippity f*ck off... Independent companies have a hard enough time right now making a living because of the f*ck of a leader we have, we don't need people siting in their comfy chair, in their underwear eating cheeto's on the internet throwing around "knowledge"....

best of luck to all & God Speed in recovering your losses... the other RX & automotive businesses in the US will indirectly pay for their unethical BS one way or another too...

^^ FYI pure sports has NEVER changed it's name, it's always been puresports (spd racing was a diff. co. with a diff. owner)

man STFU I deal with Seth daily STILL.. he's a good guy at heart. If you have half a brain you can see the good qualities in people easily and he's got them. And this coming from a 0 poster from TX.. man seriously either sac up and post with your real handle or leave this thread alone.

Are there any updates on this? Is Seth calling it quits?

Has Seth posted any contact info? I am a member of a C/F hood group buy on a Protege forum. Seth moved the production off-site so whatever progress was made should still be safe. We'd like to either get production back on track or some money back.

Has anyone PM'd Intruder with Seth's contact info? It seems he has a valid complaint about a pending group buy. I'm sure that Seth may have lost track of somethings seeing as this disaster has recently happened and a friendly reminder is all he'll need. So would somebody get Intruder and Seth in touch with each other?

Also, don't start up with the flaming in here again. I have no problems closing/deleting this thread if it gets out of hand.

I mean I could understand what that other guy is saying too. Anywho, just because Seth did a clean oil change for you that doesn't automatically proves that Seth is the Badazz at working with cars. That's just stupid. Bottom line, there will always be a certain customer that will value the dude works, and hate him because of wat the shop did to them. I personally was one that never really get along with that ***. ahem.. dude.
