I could try to some how squeeze my EZ-Up in the back of the Vette. However, despite its name, there isn't anything easy about putting that **** up lol. I'll need your guys' help to hoist it up.

^^ Hell ya man, glad you're planning on coming, I may even ask to ride along with you if you don't mind, I really like the C6 corvettes and haven't been in one on a track yet. I can fit all my **** in the back of my FD, so you have no excuse to bring your tent, I've seen the C6 trunk and they are surprisingly roomy for the compact looking exterior The other thing you should bring is something to tie that thing down, like if you have some weights and rope/bungee cords, etc. I'm going to pick up some weights because these things like to fly away. Ask me how I know.

I'm really looking forward to this event, lots of rx-7s at one time! About meeting up... not really planned on doing that... I guess we just show up around 7? Not sure when the driver meeting or 1st session is...

^^ Bummer you can't come Robert, I wanted to ask you for a ride along too... you plan on coming to Mazfest in Aug?

Good news-bad news----The FD is back together in one piece finally the bad news is that the alternator is no longer good. saturday i will be looking around at all auto part stores for a rx8 alternator
this ******* sucks. does anyone know who has a fd or RX8 alternator in stock locally

^^ Bummer man. Fisa's alt was a POS too. Maybe you can have an alt shop locally do it, I think Fisa said a shop can "rebuild" one for < $60.

I dont know i just have to hustle fast this weekend and get this issue taken care of ASAP.
I'll go and hit up the local auto store tomorrow and see who has a rx8 alternator in stock.
Since they are a direct swap with the fd one. this ******* bits ***. moments like this i just want to set her on fire and call it a day stay tuned........

Your answering service is funny. Ya I got mine rebuilt in 3 hours for $60. Try to find an alternator shop/auto electronics specialist in your area and forget the auto stores. I just google mapped alternator for my area.

Badass dude!! Glad to hear you got everything taken care of. I was in your situation with my old FD's alternator back in the days. However, on my end, I broke the alternator by trying to remove the casing for bling polishing . That was a hassle lol.

From the readings of the other sites promoting this event it looks to be a BiGA** turn out.
I feel great that we are showing up in numbers.
I still think it sucks that we will not have a bay but lets make the best of it and show the other folks how we do it.

Here's a quick update for all of you! You guys doing Saturday's event will get $25 bucks off your registration! Also, Webrides TV may hook us up with some food, drinks and some freebies to all of us in the group! I'm still talking to Brent about it and I'll let you guys know as soon as things are finalized but things are looking good so far. I think Saturday may be way better than Mazfest
