Im officially signed up for both days!
Here's some additional information for you guys:
I've been told our cars don't need to meet 100% the class rules if were not officially competing for the trophy. The official rule book can be downloaded here in PDF form: RULE BOOK!
Passengers are allowed only on Saturday as long as theyre wearing a helmet and are sitting in the front passenger seat.
TECH INSPECTION: Redline will tech your car! Please make sure everything is in good working order beforehand. Make sure your battery is tied down, your tires are good, you're not leaking fluids, your wheel bearings are good and your seat belts are in good working order. Most FC's will fail tech just by looking at them from 50 feet away! So make sure you at least have these things covered before attempting to get through tech inspection. This isnt Sevenstock where you can drive an RX-7 thats smoking worse than a smokestack!
Those of you running on Sunday's time attack: You will need a fire extinguisher securely fastened somewhere in the interior in order to pass tech inspection on Sunday. It should be somewhere within easy reach in an emergency (front of the passenger seat for example). Fire extinguishers are not mandatory for Saturday's HPDE.
TOW HOOKS: At least one tow hook is required on your car. Whoever is towing the car off track will find a way to tow your car and you risk damage to your car if you dont have a tow hook.
I think thats it for now but I'll make sure and post any additional relevant information I can think of.
Who has actually signed up for the event? Please put your name on this list if you're actually registered so we can see who's going and to try to get us our own area so we can park together.

IMO, $25 shouldnt be a real deal breaker for this event. Other track days are much cheaper but theyre usually over two hours away in the desert. After you tally up gas costs, they come out to be more expensive or at the very least, the same amount of money. Driving at Fontana is usually pricey but on the bright side, if my car breaks down, I dont have to face a tow truck bill thats more expensive than my car

Also guys, regrading tech, and this is important to note:
2-9.10 Unless required by class rules, all drivers and passengers are required to wear at a minimum long pants and long sleeved shirts made of cotton. It is highly recommended that all drivers and passengers wear fire resistant underwear.

Mike,
Ceramic brake pads are okay for daily use because it outputs virtually any brake dust. However, it will wear out after 5 laps on the track and less stopping power.
Runflats are very hard tires and not ideal for track use. They do not grip well at all. Unfortunately, I have about another 6-7k miles until I need to dump them. Perhaps I might just go to waste out the tires heeheh.
How much is it for my passenger? Too lazy to resoych

Get some hawk hp+ pads for the front of your car. You'll like them a lot. The rx7 store sells them but if you buy them there, get them for an FC turboII. They're cheaper and they're the same exact brake pad but without the FD tax.
