it was fun, I made a mess, coolant and gear oil all over the place as the engine was coming out. I was so easy but i had help so he showed me what to do at every step. it tok me no more than 2 hours.

me and my other boss put in a motor where the kid had put in baggies the name of the parts and the motor n the ft seat. after we put the motor n started up great ran perfect. then 2 weeks later the kid gets t-boned with the fresh motor and junks the car from what we had heard. i think that was the easiest i have ever put back a motor, i mean to take your time and put each nut n bolt n separate baggies and name them all, how much simpler could it get.

i was REALLY REALLY limited as far as what i could do with them, but this is the best i could come up with.

the irons were no good.

well i wonder how long it took him to figure that out, a guy with 5 kids i think i wonder if his lady is going to go with him. Well atleast his truck he drives has texas plates so no plate transfer, ashame seeing him leave but i wish him the best of luck and im glad that he will finally have his car done.

well i want some really good aluminum housings and the 1s we have he just doesnt like. But the porting is done on ft n rear.

lol.....i just bought ANOTHER turbo II......... i got it for $500.......has electrical problems, but has a fresh rebuild in it.........im gonna use it to do a turbo swap in my 88 gxl....its gonna go from a 1988 na automatic, to a 5-speed turbo....lol.....90k miles on the chassis, and the gxl is immaculate inside and out! cant wait!

LOL...this is the time of the cheap TIIs...I just picked up a '89 TII, with a blown rotor, for $400 CLEAN title...it has a hideous stripe on the side that someone painstakingly put on with an airbrush, but other than that its in great shape for the price. Should make a nice track-only car. Congrats on your find too.
