well... hopefully as of this coming tuesday, i should be an rx7 guy again..lol.... its a 1990 convertible..swapping it straight across for my 240sx

but it has a mikuni (or mukini) carb setup...so i want to swap it back to stock injection.... maybe i can find someone who wants to trade or something...

also..supposedly the motors blown..although it fires up fine..just wont drive under a load.. so ill probubly have to do a small rebuild

BUT......hopefully ill be back in the game next week!

 

It sounds blown to me. Clean body though! I didn't even know you had a 240sx haha.

 

The engine sounds good. I think the carb is out of adjustment. The white smoke could be from it running to rich. Nice car jesse!!!!

Rob I watched your video when you posted it in the track day thread and was awed at how fast it is!

what the crap.... the classified section is a joke now.. i posted a thread 2 days ago asking if people had certain items "want to buy"... and it has yet to be posted... if the admins want to screen each one.. they need to do it in reasonable time... sheesh..thats rediculous


oh...and i got my rx7 shes puuurdy! my volks are at rbmotoring right now being straightened, polished, powdercoated, and restored i need to find some coilovers soon, and a bunch of misc. parts..and shes ready to go!!!

Congrats Jesse! I posted a thread in the FC parts section and it never appeared. I double checked it before I submitted it just to make sure I included all the necessary info since they're so picky about everything now and it still was never posted. The regional sections don't have that moderator approval delay so go ahead and make one of those in the meantime and be sure to specify in it that its for all of 7club, not just the West section.

Just a small update on my Fc I'm about to send it to the bodyshop next week or so...this month for sure depends on when I get my exaust back from Evan I guess.

absence... yeah, i made one for the west section too.... it went through fine.. and did another one for the classifieds in general..included everything i needed..and still nothing... its re-damn-dickeruss! but oh well..... the west section has helped lol i already pretty much have

-D2 coilovers
-red turbo II hood
-the black interior parts i need ( robert is helping me out! thanks again!)
-and leads on a few other parts...

so it helped a bit! lol

re drifter..., .yeah, i can never stay away from rotary projects.. its in my blood! lol and thats awesome to hear shes going to the bodyshop!

lol..cool video.... looks like you have a bit of flex in the steering wheel.. is that from the quick release? seem like that would be irritating... or who know, maybe it happens to all steering wheels, but we are just having too much fun to notice! lmao

 

oh.... and i just bought a fender rolling tool yesterday!! heck yes! lmao .. and picking up a turbo hood, d2 coilovers, gp sport body kit, and all the parts needed to go back to injection tomorrow! woohoo
