How do you what we do if you've never given us a chance? There's no need for you to act like an "internet tough-guy," everyone I've met is very cool in person.

First of all this is a no hostility thread, so knock it off you guys, before this thread gets worse.
Second of all RiceBurner, you have not been to a meet so i would suggest you stop there before you make an *** of your self. i have been asking you for months now to come to one of my meets. you really don’t know what we do on our meets.
for the first hour or so, yes we do hang out and "show off" our cars. after that if you want to go home and not go on the drive you are welcome to. but no one does. we usually then go for a spirited run up to the mountains or something like that.
some of the guys/girls push their cars hard enough to cause "mishaps" like when Rob decided to hang half the car off of a cliff. all of you should know me well enough to know that i am not a bull *******, and that i am serious when I say that. beside half of you were there to witness that. Jill wrecked her 8 up in the mountains due to pushing her car so hard. vipers spun once playing a little to hard in the water.
as for track days, I myself have been to the track many times in my 8, both SOLO2 and drag. Scotty 305 is an avid Solo2 competitor, and RedBaron has dragged his several times. not to mention if i can ever get my 7 running I will be at the drags again with that car. I had full intentions of going to the NHRA Sport Compact race last weekend, but the damn car just will not run.
besides I didn’t see you racing there. I looked at every car there, I never saw you run.
so, I ask all of you to stop the hostility now before it goes on any further, and i ask you RiceBurner to not start something unless you know first hand how it is. I am not trying to start **** with you, you are one of my friends, but please don’t start crap in ROTORLUTION's thread. the rest of you, don’t take him so seriously….. Relax

...anyway i hope i kan change the subject for just a min. I need some help, my kar wont' start it gets fuel, it may have been flooded. i'm asking all you guys "my people" because i know your close by and i'm not to sure what to do.
if the car is flooded, and you are trying to unflood the car, there are two easy ways.
one, remove the EGI fues under the hood, hold the pedal to the floor and crank the engine over, sometimes this does not help.
two remove the spark plugs and remove the AFI fuse inder the hood (this prevents more fuel to be dumped in and prevents the spark plug wires from igniting the fuel that is about to come out of your engine.) then turn the engine over for a few secinds untill you see the fuel vapors go away.
three, try push starting the engine. i have had the most success with this method of "deflooding" a car.
if that does not work, light the car on fire, this will remove any and all fuel in the car...... in fact it will remove everything from the car.

lol then i would have no kar! But I did the fuse thing so many times and it doesn't work for me. um..is the AFI the green one the 40, also i never pushed it other than that one time we went up the mountian at the end of the meet. Also i had the kar towed over here and the stupid tow truck driver left my kar i second gear the engine was all warm and my neighbor told me he could hear my kar down the street. And my kar may be louder than you 8 but it's still quiet.
i would try the removing the spark plug thing, or the Pushing thing. those work the best.
as for which fuse, i cant tell you because i dont have one in front of me, someone else want to help him out with this one?

so i changed the coil on the leading side and the new one shocked me lol, one of the trailing coils was weak. i still kant get the kar to start still pulling the fuses and i'm out of ideas the last thing i kan think of is to push start it and drive it to mazda or somethig.
riceburner1r2001, I'm sorry if I overreacted. We've got a really good group of people coming to these meets, and I think you'd have fun if you joined us.
RE Drifter, be sure to double-check the small things. Are there any fuses blown? Have you tried fresh spark plugs? I've heard there's an "ATF trick" for starting cars that have been flooded or overheated, you might want to look that up. Has it acted weird or been tough to start lately?
Good luck, man.

push starting would be the very first thing I would have tried, it always unfloods my car, but i always try to avoid flooding in the first place, I always rev to 2500-3000 rpm then turn the key off, everytime I have dont this my car has never flooded, you need to get that car over to casey's or some where so we can unscrew it, u seem to be having alot of problems latley, when I bought my truely neglected car I replaced every fluid, filter, spark plug wire, vacuum line on the car just to get a fresh start and no where I stand, and it hasnt really given me a problem, just the already broken stuff

he he he, yeah RE drifter, if you can get it to my house somehow then we can take a look at it. maybe some of you other san B rotary guys can help to.
have you tried push starting it yet? i dont remember you saying that you did it. As FC3Stech said, this has always worked for me. it spins the engine over WAY faster then the starter car. if it does not start up by pushing it a coule times then nothing is going to start it.
also as for the coils, you said you said the last set were not working at all!?!?!? yeah that would cause a car not to start!
with 4 fireing spark plugs, and some fuel, your car should run with no problem.

I have new plugs and wireset i also took the coils off of my cousins FC which doesn't run but the coils are good the batterie was about to die so i put it on charge over night and i'm bout to try to start it this morning. Then i'll try to push it (this will be hard by myself and there is a small hill) I'll look into the ATF trick thing too, the kar has been siting for 2weeks now and before that it had hard times starting i had to pull the fuse to get it to start i did that for about a week.
Oh yeah no bad fuses, the kar sat for two days without plugs in it so in case it was flooded the air i hope got it out. and still no start. KC your so kool if you let me take my kar to your house but you know I don't know where you live right.
I live in San Bernardino. PM me if you need an address. also if you were having trouble starting it for a few weeks before, it is starting to sound like a more major of a problem. like maybe water int eh engine. I had an engine do this once. this would mean time to replace the engine. did the car smoke at all when you did get it to start?
I had a car once that would smoke out the neighbors for a few seconds when it started. Same problem, car was hard to start if it sat for a while, it just got harder and harder to start untill one day it had so much water it, it would not start on its own.
I am not saying this is the problem, i am just saying if this is a problem that has been on going then there is a bigger problem then it just flooding once.
oh yeah, and you would have to bring the car this weekend, I work on weekdays.

My batterie has issues but it's still good, I did push it today third time was a charm but i soon died and now is in the driveway untill i figure out where i'm going to take it. Today when i pushed it their was a lot of smoke all the way down the street all the fuel got out then smoke from the oil got out<not as much smoke> the kar started up real slow and then cut off when it kame back.
