Smog with a street port

Well ya all, it's that time of year next month to smog my car. Thus being the first time having to smog it with a street port. Everything else is stock. Has anyone passed a smog with just a street port? Let me know what to look forward too.

Yeah, as you know of my situation. I would just get a pre test done to see if your running clean enough. Then take it to get smogged. Because if you fail, then you are a gross polluter after that. i am going to run racing gas in mine and turn my fuel controller lean so that it will burn cleaner and maybe pass emissions. But i'll let you know in a couple of days if mine passed or not. I will know at the end of this week.

it should pass with any size streetport if you have a decent condition cat on it.

i don't think i could port a motor large enough to not pass with just a streetport, if everything is working well.

and just because you fail does not list you as a gross pulluter, you have to be what, twice the limit for testing? before they flag you as a gross polluter. but i will admit, 90% or more of the time, if you are over the limit then you are waaaay over the limit.

For $300, or a streetported V8.
