Drill it out, tap the manifold, put a stud in, and a nut on both sides, then weld the nuts to the bolt.

That's kinda why I was confused.

Why would you want to do that? Seems you would have a whole lot more to loose than gain.

You would do this if you port matched the turbo runners and if you want to remove the twin scroll system. I've done this mod with good results.

hmm thats odd i went to one welding shop in my area today and the guy couldnt weld a piece of stainless steel into the flapper hole. he told me to bring it to a machine shop to get a dowel pressed in there

for sure ill pm you if i cant get it done in my area since your all the way in el monte
