If you call that" having fun" than you are twisted.
"What happened to you not contacting me anymore? You still cant do it, can you."
Its called standing up for a really friend. That what friends do!

Chris,
It's clear you're going through a bad stretch right now. Being unemployed with a family with young child to support can take it's toll. Been there. The references to Galatians (I kept that low key on purpose) and best wish's on the job search were no more than what indicated on the surface. You're reading into it something that simply isn't there.
Your signature” Converting one rotary owner at a time" is dead on with Jim Lab's (who I gather is a primary leader of the V8RX7 forum) sentiment to "disprove the theory that the rotary engine is still a gem waiting to be discovered by the masses". Thus my reference in tease. I'm sorry that you took it as an insult and didn't take it as the good natured joke as it was intended.
Take a breath.
PS And I really do look forward to when you can post your time so closure can finally be reached on that open issue between you and Robert. I'm as curious as everyone else on this forum how that will play out regardless to who ends up on top.

Jimlab doesnt try to convert, he simply pwns his opposition.
and IMHO:
The less V8 rx7s the better. Actually i'm a little disappointed in how popular the swap is. I appreciate all the work that paved the way to allow me to easily convert my car to V8, but the more V8 rx7's on the road, the less unique my car becomes.
But since i live in socal, there are only a handful of us V8 Rx7 owners here anyways. So most people havent seen or heard of the swap.
I actually received a discount from the clerk at kragen this weekend because i drove a rotary. When i showed him it was v8, he flipped out(in a good/shocked way).
Maybe the 16x can revive the rotary
But it will prolly have to be forced inducted to be worth its salt.

You know Chris isn't his normal self when he drops nuggets like "You're storing up a day of wrath for yourself when I move back to So Cal old man."
I'm just taking it as water off the back of a duck as clearly Chris is hyper sensitive right now due to home front frustrations he's recently announced. That silly comment was no more than a form of pressure release for him. I'd much rather he does that than take his frustration out on his dog.
For perspective, it was pointed out that Chris offered that Galatians reference in another thread to another forum member going through a rough patch as something to grab for comfort. I just offered that same thing to him, albeit in a low key way.

Can't we ALL just get along? You all act like boys instead of men! I sure hope that all of you with children are being good role models, especially if you have boys! Don't continue on this idiotic cycle. Enjoy your cars... Don't fight about them!
blah blah blah...yaawwwnnn...wtf, this thread smells like burnt push rods...damn, did I hit the title right on the button or what? Rotary's are so under rated
But I was proven wrong and that adding weight to your X7 can win races
it worked for this supra

Hey HOZZ I don't know you nor do I care to. But to me, bringing up ones personal affairs on a public forum (such as family crisis) is a bit out of line and may be taken offensive. Then you wonder why he may be a tad torqued?
Also as ammusing as this thread is to read, you guys are beating a dead horse...
By the way Star Wars is
A grown man speaking in said tounge is odd at best...

Cr.., uh, rab71, interesting what platform you chose for your very first post. Do you also go by some other screen name? But read closer.
My reference is to what Chris put it out there himself on this forum, albeit in detail. In respect, I kept the detail out of it here. But since you're pushing the subject or if you don't believe me, then read https://www.rx7club.com/showpost.php...&postcount=124 Chris is going through a rough patch we all go through from time to time, and unfortunately something becoming more common in these current economic times. In a way, I was defending Chris for that way out there comment of his..
As far as putting someone else's personal life out there, Chris is be far more skilled than I. PM our friendly moderator Rx-7Doctor and ask about a recent thread of Chris's where Rx-7 doctor had to extensively edit out seriously personal stuff Chris put out there on a friend of mine. Obviously two wrongs don't make a right, but just giving perspective.
As far as your view of Star Wars, box office results might suggest there are a large number of people who wouldn't agree. Against a average $68.5 million budget generated $620.5 gross on average. If you want to call a 9:1 gross return gay, they there you go. At the least, to each their own.

Note to Brismo - Well done!! Except that I have yet to see an episode where House was proven wrong.

Giving equal time, this is for the anti-wankle crowd. My, how things have changes since then.
"The Ro 80 remains one of the few really brave cars launched by any car company in the world. (Arguably, it took until 1998 for Toyota to match the scale of innovation with the Prius.)"

Hozz... I'm not calling Star Wars gay, I am calling a grown man using terms/language quoting the movie gay. It is obvious that your intellect is much more capable. What I can't get past no matter how smart you seem to be you are still just a star wars wanna' be Treky dork...
By the way I too drive a V8 rx7... Will someon please ban me from this site?

I use one Star Wars word reference, and now I'm a "star wars wanna' be Treky dork"? Damn, next I'm a Bible thumper because I gave a Galatians reference?
Messing with ya.
In truth, I absolutely agree with the comment "People who fab their own swaps, and aren't afraid to go across brands and models, are what hot rodding is all about. "
I absolutely appreciate Brismo's conversion, and I was impressed from the first with the conversion work DCrosby had done. Further, I gather you did a V8 conversion to a 1st Gen (LS1 as well?). That must have one heck of a power to weight ratio.
BUT, it's just plain silly for folks to complain about getting flameing responses when they come onto THIS forum and glorify their V8 conversions because “Wankles suck”. This no more than what a Seattle Seahawk fan (GO SEAHAWKS!!) might expect if they got overly gregarious in Oakland (Raider) Stadium.
My Oxymoron signature is totally tongue in cheek. But no secret which engine I'm the bigger fan of. Further, I usually work 7Stock primarily directing traffic where to park. That also being a Wankle forum, I admit I do enjoy telling the Ferraris, Porsches, and Transgendered 7's that they get to park in the side lot. But I will also admit I find time to go to that side lot to check them out as well.
To each their own.
