California Speedway - Auto Club NHRA Street Legal's - July 12, 2008
Talk about a self serving accusation! What you're really upset about is Robert won't give you a time to shoot at. If he did that, then what's to stop you from taking more than the few runs Robert took until you either beat the time, run out of track time, or break something in your car?
Let me be sarcastic. Yup, Robert is the one playing games.
So Chris, when you play poker, do you show your hand to every one at the table so they know what cards they need and/or how many they need to draw to beat you? I'm sure you wouldn't mind how small the pot might be because everyone folded early.
I will tell you one thing. Robert got his butt kicked by a Ford Pinto. And it would be difficult for Robert to show a false time as he had too many witnesses that could call foul if he did. He also has time slips and video proof.
So go do your run and lets see. You think your car is faster than Robers? Lets see. If you're really done, then I guess all you've been putting out there is hot air.

LS1FC, quit being such a bitch. When you post your time slip with the date on it, i'm sure robert will post his with the july 12th date and time up.
Sack up and get your **** to the track...

Chris,
In case you didn't know, Brismo7 runs an (this is difficult to type) LS1 (ah, that hurt) in his RX7. So, he is one of your clan.
You know, from you're "done" comment and no further comment from you since, it does sound like your folding early. That being the case, pretty ironic since you're the one that 1) called Robert out in the first place and 2)after Robert has already invested his time, money, and effort to answer your challenge.
Brismo,
You sure you're not refering to my question of why won't isn't willn't? :0

No I wasn't able to go. I'm stuck at work (yesterday and today)
Would love to see that. I'm sure there'll be some video of that on the internet somewhere. What was the fastest car yesterday? last time I was there an r32 skyline ran ~9.40 @ 140 mph or so
Last pass of the day, he was running 10's & 11's earlier on before that. I'm sure he got banned from the track forever for pulling that "stunt"

Ah, Robert. You gave it away given I already told the story how that Pinto kicked your butt. Now everyone knows that if Chris does at least a 10.6 he wins the bet.
MrFuzzy,
Shhhhh. Don't tell anyone that the Vega kicked his butt as well.

u should just post up your time...
stop holding out.
if he beats it oh well.. there's plenty of other faster cars out there.
if he blows up, it's one less ls1FC
either way, u ran and have/should have vid/pics of the time.
no real reason to hold out.
also if he beats it, just up boost/octane and run again... it doesn't have to be over in just one shot... it can always become an ongoing battle... classic rivalry
so post it up

Ah now,
So when you play poker, and you're dealt a royal flush, you would show your cards before anyone has a chance to draw cards and before the betting starts . That's what you're essentially saying.
However, as my obvious bias might suggest (all in fun), I do like your one less LS1FC sentiment.
If Chris knew what time he had to beat (I was a witness), I wouldn't be surprised if a Popped LSI became part of the sad ending chapter of this story.
Truth be told, this kind of race doesn't really prove anything about who has the better car. Better if it were in a race that involved real track driving. My god son was ranked #1 in the nation for his age class for junior drags, but I still tease him asking how much skill does it take to drive in a straight line.

To early
Chris is supposed to be running, I believe, this coming Wednesday.
All cards on the table after that. May the best rotary car win.

Tomorrow is Wednesday, July 23rd
The day Chris said he was doing his run.
Three questions for you odds makers out there.
1. What are the odds Chris and his LS1 boinger will get a faster time than FC3S91?
2. What are the odds that Chris won't even do the run because of his announcement he is "done" when it was announced Robert completed his side of the challenge?
3. What are the odds that Chris's car will pull up lame (break something) in the process?

*I hate talking to recruiters*
Chris
Unfortunately, my position along with 250 other employees positions were eliminated last week, which is why you havent seen me on here in a week. This race will have to be postponed until I can get back on my feet. The odds that I break a diff or axle are very high and not having a job to pay for what I break would be stupid on my part. Dont worry, it will happen, just in a tough spot right now.
