Can someone list all the services that each of these shop can or cannot do? What about suspension installation/adjustment, performance parts installation/tune, tire installation balance...... It is hard to tell and it would be nice to have a list.

i just don't do counterweighting, everything else i do myself or things like tire balancing i send out to the tire shop down the street along with alignments. i don't know of many rotary shops that do absolutely everything in house.

i won't put him or his rep down but it a) wont last or b) if something goes wrong then good luck getting it fixed under any sort of a warranty. i have had to eat weeks worth of work doing repairs even though there was no way to verify if something was my fault or not.

i really have no clue how someone could do a job like that and maybe scrape by with $300 in profit, not knowing the condition of your core motor, etc. the guy is nuts or reusing every single part in the engine minus water seals, in which case i will laugh when a worn rotor slot and 3 piece apex seal fall out and get jammed due to excessive wear.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Rotary Evolution (aka Karack) for the support he gave me this weekend in my time of need! I was stranded on the track with Karack to the rescue.

Thanks to him, I was able to take this shot:

+1 for Rotorsport.

Paul would tell me how he's fixed stuff coming from other rotary shops... no names to be polite. I never thought much about it because it is common place to hear that kind of stuff from shop owners.

However this weekend going to 7stock, I met a couple guys that took stuff to other shops, and then ultimately took it to Paul to fix the other shops screw-ups. Guess Paul wasn't lying.

Rick from PR is nice too, but he strongly suggested against me keeping my 7 the first week I got it.

Hey guys, just wanted to post up the shop I am currently at in Sausalito, California.

Bridgeway Auto Repair
www.Bridgewayautorepair.com

Opens Daily 8am-5pm and Saturday 9am-2pm

1101 Bridgeway Blvd
Sausalito, CA 94965
(415)332-6622
contact@bridgewayautorepair.com

We specialize in bmw and rx7s (Mainly FCs and FDs) but we also service most imports, European and domestic.
However, we do not tune or rebuild engines yet. But we do anything from mount/balance tire, suspension, alignment, transmission services (not including rebuild), engine diagnostic, electrical, mostly anything you name it we can do it. If not, we will recommend another shop for whatever work we cannot handle.

Give us a call and visit us =). We are considering having mainly RX7 works for weekend (saturdays only) and might have a rotary meet once in a while =]

I wont be tuning at least not soon. I am the technician here but I am learning to tune. I even have my car tune by Steve Kan. I dont think anyone I know can tune better he does =). So I leave that stuff to him for now.

However my future plan is to be able to tune the car myself, but we dont have a dyno here in the shop. We are in a small shop but very efficient =)

Come by anytime to enjoy the area and view!! It's gorgeous outside right now as i type!!
