Ivan has a black FD in his living room now with 300 miles on the car. Anyways, if his charges an arm and a leg you can bet its worth it. Quality is priceless and he is a RX-7 specialist and I will be contracting him to do rebuilds for my customers.
Another Ben to remember, but Im with Rotary Extreme...lol
Website re-opens this friday to next week at the latest.

I hope this helps you see how far I am away and I don't know where Rotary Evolution is located (Ben? aka Karak?) but he may be closer to Sacramento than I am depending on where you live. Do a search on Google maps for Larson's Rotary and it will show you. CLICK HERE:

Rx7 Rotary Shop - Sunnyvale,Ca
I just did major repair work with him(my first time). He is very honest and does excellent work (better than a certain shop in Pleasanton).
His e-mail is: tightfd@yahoo.com
Good luck and Happy repairs!!!

Ben (Karack) who owns Rotary Evolution just rebuilt my engine. Very cool guy! I stayed with him from 3:30 to about 10 something (didn't hear about his disclaimer lol) and saw him put my engine back together and back into my car and got it running the first start! Great guy for staying late and making sure everything went smoothly! Thank you!
i was a little skeptical that it might not start since the front hub isn't indexed like the 13B engines are, luckily my guess work on lining up the hub was accurate. i wanted to clean up more around the engine bay but it was just taking too long dealing with that oil cooler.

at least the oil cooler fit perfectly in the end! i started some cleaning on the driver side like wiping down the hoses and lines and a/c compressor and the underside of the hood but it's already starting to get dirty. let me know when you have time and i'll come up and we can work on her some more.
