Hes not really taking on new projects, just finishing the ones he has. He isn't very good at calling people back, but you have to understand he has people call him like every 5 minutes every day. No joke..I was at his shop and his phone never stopped ringing while he was trying to work. Everyone seems to think they should be first in line to have their car worked on or something. I will tell him to try and get back to you asap Boyee

He may get work done a little faster this summer since I'll probably end up doing some help around the shop for him when I'm done with school.

He works 6-7 days a week. M-F he works on the rebuilds and bigger projects, Saturday he usually does smaller shiz like brake jobs or stuff people need done...that was awhile ago though..I think now hes just trying to get Hopkins and Fabians cars done asap.

Thanks for the lookout bro! I drove up to his shop last Tuesday and he took a look at my car and I will be going back up this Tuesday for minor things like swapping back my FMOC and checking the accessories/pulleys if they are linked to my engine vibration issues.

I'll vouch for Ben. He may have trouble getting back to you but as smog said just consider how many calls he probably gets in a day. However if anyone cares about helping the club its him. He keeps his prices low and offers really great service and when you get your car back you know its good to go. When I had my motor rebuilt in my old TII it was about 2400 give or take with the motor in the car.

its hard to convince idiots that the only way to get these engines started if they have blown coolant seals is pretty much a rebuild and i was just wondering if any of you people in the sac area has any experience with Checkpoint Engineering here in sac

I'm workin at Rotary Evolution for Ben right now..SmogGuys FD was finished and runs like a champ!

DinnerCoats Car is done, but we're trying to get it to pass smog..might need new cats

Workin on some dudes Black TII right now. Motor is out and disassembled...Tomorrow I'll be cleaning the parts off, while Ben does an oil leak on another FD or something..not 100% sure.

But yeah...progress is being made!
