Haven't take a drive up to hills in a while now. I think I might go tonight after I take my midterms. it'd be a good stress reliever.

Whaaat. I've had my FC since I was 15 and a half, and I just turned 18. No crashes yet, buuuut I got my first ticket last night.

"Following to close, 50 in a 65."

Too bad I was following my friend with another friend right behind me. CHP told us to pull over and I was the only one who complied, so I get screwed for listening while they got off
Whatever hopefully since it's my first ticket I can take a class and have it removed from my record.

He asked me why my cat-less car smelt. I said it was an old car with failing cats, he said whatever. I also got two sobriety tests, blew a .000, he thought he smelt alcohol but it was my cologne

north bay cruises

i am looking for anyone that would like to do sunday morning rides in the marin, sonoma, napa, mendocino county areas. early morning rides to breakfast are best as i do push my car. no day long things, lets just meet up somewhere, plan a path and do a couple of hours, have breakfast and get back before the family is up. i do have some great paths for this time and day. safe and no cops.
any takers? adam.

ps, it does not matter whether you drive a zx7 or an rx7, as long as you are ok with a faster pace.

Damn I would never admit to failing cats, from all these stories I hear about getting written off with an exhaust ticket, I would hate to get one. I got pulled over last week and I denied everything I was accused of, which was basically speeding. But hopefully I'll never get pulled over again, I drive slower now and do less crazy stuff.

I've had this car since I was 15 1/2 also and haven't gotten into an accident, but 15 1/2 wasn't that long ago. I don't drive my Seven in any way that would get me into an accident. But people get into accidents even if they're driving safely and they are aware of their surroundings. There might be that drunk idiot who decides to ram into you.

But if I do drive off a cliff or something and you see me on the news, feel free to say "I told you so..."

What's up everybody? Sorry that Berry and I have been MIA lately. Things have come up and now there are a lot of things that need to change. First, I'm stepping down from any organizing/planning of NorCal 7 events and meets. So if someone would like to step up, that would be great. Second, the Pacific Avatar is for sale. There is a for sale thread in the 1st gen for sale section. Third, Berry's FD will be up for sale shortly after the first of the year. I'll still be on the forums, but I just don't have the time to set things up for our meets like I used to. At least not for the next 6 months or so anyway. See you guys around on the forums. If anyone is interested in either one of our cars, just give me a call.

And thats correct never admit to anything or come up with random excuse to something your being accused off. Just answer around the question. I've been pulled over multiple times and never admitted to having anything more than a cat-back because that is obviously visible IB. Corksport.
The only thing I have gotten a fix it ticket for is my Intake and Front License Plate. Both times were at the street races so stupid me right.
So yea never admit to anything until absolutely necessary. So your conversation should go like this.
Cop: Got any Illegal mods on your car.
You: No
Cop: You got an exhaust there. You have cats on?
You: Just a catback
Cop: You here for the races?
You: Nope just passing through.

Randy,

I haven't talked to him either. I'll have some time off coming up soon, I'll stop by his shop and see what his schedule looks like. I'll give you a call as soon as I hear something.

Nick, cool how much you want for it? Brian never got ahold of me and he always gets his Getro PCS phone turned off. Does he have a new # yet, if so PM me the #.

Rspeed916, I talk to Ben the other day he is still busy & about his shop hours, he has no regular shop hours so make sure you call before heading over from Sac.
