well the night before i was in chico for a langerie party, it was awesome! but i had to make it back to sac in time to get up and meet up with everybody early in the morning. so first my friends were driving but they were all super tired/buzzed so i decided to drive, since i was fine.

well the problem was I was driving on a suspended liscense, and got pulled over and they arrested me for it. and i was supposed to be out in an hour (got pulled over at about 2:30am middle of nowhere) was taken to sutter police station. stood in the holding cell for about 12 hours. nowhere to sit... 8 other people in the cell with me. There was NO water, just a bowl for a toilette. and it sucked. First time ive ever been arrested before. I got out right around 3. and that was obviously too late to drive down to rotorfest.

well, see heres the thing. Im not a bad driver, my liscense isnt suspended because i have too many tickets... The 2 other passengers in the car had been drinking, and it wasnt safe for either of them to drive, because when we first started drivng, my buddy tom was driving, and we had to pull over because he was falling asleep. IF we had been pulled over with either of them driving, they would go to jail for DUI, they are both under 21. Id rather go to jail for suspended liscense than see them go to jail, and lose their liscense for a long time. It was logical for me to be driving that car. it comes down to whats safer for everybody, our car, other cars on the road. so on and so on

Out of curiosity, what reason did they give for pulling you over? You said you were in the middle of nowhere and I've made the drive from Rocklin to Chico a few times and there's usually little or no other cars on the route I take. It seems odd, that a police officer would be patrolling an empty road.

Oh, and thanks to the guys that organized Rotorfest/Rotaryfest II. Great job! I had fun meeting and seeing new and familiar faces. I apologize to Jackie, too, if I hurt your feelings. You know I have to give you a hard time since you're one of the younger members and you have such cute chubby cheeks

So let me get this straight... You hate cops because they arrested you for breaking the law??? At least nobody is hurt and you didn't get your sh*t pushed in. That would've really ruined your day.

Lol.. Hey Zach i was thinking since we have NorCal 7 shirts, what do you think about stickers? Not like fat giant windshield stickers but small decals.

You know I'm game. Why, you got someone who does stickers or were you hinting at me to get them done? Drop me a PM sometime and we can sort it all out.

Hey, y'all, while you were at Treasure Island on Saturday, tonedeftony and I went to Sunnyvale and picked up a 1990 black 'vert for me! It feels so incredibly good to be driving again (maz vs. camry) and I'm stoked. The chassis has over 200K miles, but I know all the parts from my crashed vert will transfer over nicely. It will be a winter project but that's okay.

Have an appt. with lawyer on Wednesday; the lady who hit me was convicted of running the red light (duh) so now hopefully I can get the insurance settlement in order to pay back the kind friend who lent me the money to get the new car.

Hope to be seeing you all sometime in the near future!

It was late at night passed a lone police officer. he flipped a bitch, got behind us to pulled us over. he had NO reason, he even said so, he was just checking it. it was bad timming. we all no cops dont need a reason to pull over and check a car out.

I wasnt drunk (unlike what some people have said. I DO NOT DRIVE DRUNK!) My friends were intoxicated, this is why I was driving.

Cops are supposed to protect and serve right? tell me why he impounded my friends car (even though they both had liscenses) and left them on the side of the road middle of the night pitch black letting them walk like 10 miles to the next town by themselves.

Yeah, i should not have been driving, i agree(trust me... that was my first time being arrested.. it wasnt fun....) . But tell me whats safer? drunk drivers? or a driver whos liscense is suspended for not going to court?

I would rather take the fall, be fined over $5,000 and deal with all of the bullshit, than let my friend get a DUI go to jail and lose his liscense for over a year. And possiblie get into an accident on the way home!

friends dont let friends drive drunk! i did the friendly thing.

I work at jamba juice, we get A LOT of police officers who come in.. and my experience.. 95% of them are douchbags.. talk about rude ********. WOW

everytime i get a close up encounter of a cop i relize why i hate them so much..

Randy PM me your number i have a new phone!

while in the cop car, on the way to the police station, i finaly let lose, like i always say im going to. I was 100% honest with the cop, told him i had 0 respect for cops and told him why.

most of my questions he had no answer for. He said that the reason hes hard on most people is because he "has new rules to follow" well i wonder... how many people are let off with a warning? i dont recall that being a rule of the law....

I told him he wasnt around to protect and serve... that he was just around to make money for CA... and told me "dont blame me.. blame the california legislature" thats bullshit.

I dont him of the bad experiences ive had, like getting a ticket for my NEW car being ON my property and getting a ticket while NOT driving it. and he had no answer..

Basicly i talked a lot of ****, because whats the worst he could do? arrest me? lol And it felt great.

Im sorry for those who are cops. I know not ALL cops are bad.. just most of them.

People are who millitary/cops/ex cops, life must be great... because cops give you a high five.. but for the rest of us, it dosnt feel so great to recieve dirty cops most of the time. most cops seem to love sitting on they're high horse feeling invincible, doing almost whatever they want. If i was a police officer, id take pride in being the one they all hated, because i would know i was giving them just revenge, knowing i wasnt a part of their cirlce jerk club.

this is my opinion. Please do not edit/delete my post Zach.

Hey Stan and Jake:
No, not settled yet, because her insurance company believed her claim of having the green light. Since she has now been convicted of the infraction, it shouldn't be too long before we get settlement, but cross your fingers. Yeah, it has been ridiculous. And now I have made two trips up to Eureka for court stuff…and I'm going to make them reimburse me for all those expenses. Basically, they are going to end up owing me more money than if they had just settled back in May. That seems to be the nature of the insurance game. Sucks, though.

Yea definitely make them reimburse you. It's what they deserve for making it such a hassle. I always think, why do they call it insurance if you're not even SURE it's going to help you. I am glad that things look like they will work out for you though.

When I got in an accident in my 87' it took them 4 MONTHS to get me a check. The first time they offered me 1500 for my car. A MINT condition 87 base with 87k miles. Ended up getting 4000 for it after a month of arguing with them and writing them a long sentimental letter. Not to mention I got 2500 for chiropractor bills and suffering. But the Pain and suffering didn't come for another THREE MONTHS. Thank God my parents were around to help me get a new car and front the chiropractor bill.

First off, I'm very glad to hear that things are coming along for you Liz. If there is anything that Berry and I can do for you don't hesitate to PM/call us.

Second... Chris, I'm not going to edit/delete your posts. They are your opinions and you are more than entitled to them. However, I can't sit quietly by anymore. You have spoken out and proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are an immature and ignorant person. I do hope that you'll grow up one day and pull your head out of the hole that it's in. If you ever decide to do so then I'll be the first person there to congratulate you. (not that you care about that) Where is it that cops always let ex-cops/military off the hook? I'd love to know that? I used to average getting pulled over 3-4 times a month in my TII by the police. Is it something that I liked? No. But I was breaking the law and they police were doing their job. The only reason that I didn't get a million tickets is because my car is registered and insured in a state where there aren't any SMOG laws. Do I like all cops or do I always back them? No, I agree that there are crap cops out there. But more than not they are good people who are doing a VERY IMPORTANT CIVIL SERVICE! I honestly believe that if you had not acted like such an *** to the cop that pulled you over that you wouldn't have spent so long in jail. You asked for everything that you got. I'm now considering this matter finished. If you feel the need to reply to me about it then take it to PM's.

I also apologize to the rest of NorCal 7's for being so rude on the open forum. But hearing this trash talked was just more than I could bear. I also hope that the younger members were able to notice it just as I did.

To all, be on the lookout for another NorCal 7 meet in October. Our monthly meets will be happening again after SSX.

Randy, congrats on your new TII bro! I'm familiar with Tony's old TII. I'm also glad that I was able to help with the FCD. I wouldn't go over 10-11psi on a normal basis on the stock fuel system to ensure that you don't grenade your motor. I used to run up to 14-15psi on my TII but that was with an SAFC, Walbro 255lph pump, and 680cc secondaries. Hope that helps some. If you need anything else just give me a call and I'll be more than happy to help where I can.

Zach

cool...thx zach...yea i was just testing it out after i got a 3in exhaust frum the pre cat back..no main cat...anyways...i was on the freeway and downshifted to 4th and punched it..it hit 14psi b4 i let off....but i think im gonna take the fcd out just for safety..lol..i dont wanna blow it up..

but yea as far as the cop thing...i can agree with both zach and chris...yes alot of cops are a buncha a-holes...stereotyping me as a "street racer" because i have a muffler...or its too low..while at the same time i was totally obeying every speed and traffic law...when i see all these loud, garbage pushrod engines runnin around being stupid...yet they dont get pulled over as much as my lil rotary does...but then again, cops are doing their job...they wouldnt be stereotyping us if there wasnt anything to base off of....such as those stupid ff ricers and their stoplight street races....or those ignorant so called "drifters" gassing it around corners at busy intersections....so i really cant help being stereotyped by cops...but i do know one thing..cops will usually be less of an *** if u just cooperate with them...i hate cops just as much as any1 else ...but wut can i do in my position u know?....

ps....if any1 has a hks bov forsale for a fc...lemme know...!
