Things are probably going to slow up what with the holidays having just past, and now the crummy weather.

I have faith in the NorCal rotary community blowing up engines. =P

Hey all... I got off my butt and posted a clip of my Tanabe Concept G exhaust in the audio/video section. I had a few requests so check it out if your interested.

https://www.rx7club.com/rx-7-audio-visual-lounge-143/tanabe-medalion-concept-g-exhaust-clip-726401/

Ben - I hate to hear you talk like that. I'm broke as hell paying a grand a month on one child but I'll scape some $$$ together and get you to install my boost controller and make me a radiator plate.

We all need to suport each other so I challenge all to list something Ben did on your car in your signature block. I know a bunch do already so spread the word.

Peace...

Evan

I got a few friends down in modesto that are getting into sevens, I'll see if I can convince them to go get rebuilds. One of them has a blown coolant seal so I can probably get him to come up.

Yup rotary work is sparse these days but I been pulling a little here and there to keep me going. I keep overhead low by doing it from home but I miss having my shop to paint in.

it's really because we're in a depression because of the housing market explosion and implosion in the state combined with hiked gas prices.

i'm sure things will come back around but for now alot of people are feeling the hit from these times. i would like to think its just due to the season of the year but i haven't seen it this slow since i opened the shop 3 years ago.

i'm sure i will pull out of it assuming i can sell off a few things to keep me rolling in the meantime. thanks for the support guys.

if i can afford it in the meantime i will probably just try flipping some cars to make a little profit and get some work done on the few personal projects i haven't really gotten much done on yet.

Same here I still got that Crystal white Wide Body 90 GTUs project that is on stand still.I might cut some conners and skip the underbody restoration and make it a track runner.
When the sun let's up I might be able to do some body work on them.

Good luck with the shop Karack, I plan on finding another shop too but it's about $1-$1.80 for shop space here in the bay. How about in your neighborhood?
Tell me about it I just have no space out here for my own 7 cars!
It was nice when I used to have 3000 sq ft for $1300 but due to zoning problems I moved out.

shop space is generally about $.50/sqft but you can find it cheaper, such as the shop across the way that was rented last week for $200/mo and is only about 25% smaller than each of my shops.

i have 2000/sqft plus a barbed wire fenced storage yard which i think is a decent deal for the price.

I'm in for a cruise soon. I just moved into a bigger house with a 2 car garage so i'll actually have a chance to fix my window motor and replace my sunroof motor too.

Haven't blown mine, knock on wood. But it's because we own NAs.... I could go for an engine rebuild and street port just to have a fresh motor but it's either that or a paint job.
