Thumbs up

Awesome, I can't make it tomorrow! I ordered my alternator pulley from Atkins and requested that I wanted it shipped ASAP by the fastest shipping method. I requested same-day shipping, and I ordered placed the order on tuesday. The pulley still hasn't come.

Boy, I am just having a fantastic experience with Atkins.

Take a beater if you have to....just show up! We need some club support! Support me as I slide off the track and into some kind of barrier then cry for a week straight.

a question about the classes if anyone knows:

ok, i checked the rule book and as far as i can see i fit in the street modified category, of which i don't see listed on any of the runs but i assume it falls under the "all mods" category in run 4. aside from that what is the classification for "street tire"? i see nothing about it mentioned in the classifications tables so i have no clue whether i can run in that category or not since the street modified category is going to be a pretty rough crowd to get in points wise, though i'm not hugely concerned about the points i would like to compete with some of the more reasonably modified cars...

anyways, if you know let me know the answer. if not i will just sign up for SM and see you tomorrow morning.

btw, i ran in the street touring S class last time out, none of the techies said a word about my turboback or 235s on the rear so i was technically out of my category with just those 2 mods not including my street ported motor/turbo...

mods are in my sig with the exception of i installed my HKS SSQV a couple of nights ago.

If you have street tires, NON R compound, Then you run in the street tire class regardless of your mods, but you will have an index that will make the class more competitive for slower cars. I talked with bob about this last time and that is what i gathered from his knowledge, so sign up for street tire class.

By the way what time is everyone leaving? I'm planning to leave at like 9:30 so i'll be there around 10.

oh, and if anyone happens to head out to the track tomorrow can you check with the guys who run it and see if they may have found it, it was likely lost in the radio bin or out in the pit somewhere.

well actually the turnout wasn't all that bad when you think about it...

1. Boostedrex ----Zach/Berry =already said they will be in Tx
2. Live2Drive15 - Jake =the goofy bastard made it
3. Karack --------- Ben =i made it, but was late again
4. 209FD-----------Dan =showed up a little late for a few minutes
5. Keivi =not sure who this is but i think he was there, sorry im horrible with names
6. SmogSUX-----Nick =made me late
7. rtry-turboII---Bert =wierd noise with his car, couldn't make it
8. Gen3RX7-------Bob =would have made it but had to head to san diego
9. ProjectRE-------Kenji =was there in the 1st gen bridgeport
10.Civic-----------Kaiba =was there in the red hatch civic
11.rx7(1stg)-------------John =didn't see john but his car was there, Kenji was driving it?
12. Josh Franco =no clue
13. Snub Disphenoid- Kevin =didn't make it because of the bad alternator
14. oni-dori--------Jan(i'll try again) =met up after the meet
15.

and then there was Jeff who lives in stockton getting his T2 back together who hasn't posted here before.

and the couple with the T2 and vert who don't post here yet.

so all in all i think we broke even with what we expected, but most people's 7's seem broken lately so the turnout looked like it was pretty dead. but really when you think about it there was around 10 or so 7's at the meet, including some of the people who just raced and we didn't talk to.

Hey guys, it was awesome getting to meet you guys. Getting a ride in Nick and Jake's cars made me extremely excited to get mine back on the road. I tried to take a picture of all the cars in a line when we were going down under those underpasses but the angle wasnt as good as I had hoped. Can't wait to see you guys next time! June 11?

oh btw...look what I found...

I get the Beast back tomorrow with new 99 tank and twin fuel pumps, with my fp and oil temp gauges hopefully hooked up as well.....now, if I can just get my nitrogen charging system for my shocks completed by the 11th.......even if I don't, I will still run.

It was in the radio bin. They announced it after I ran so I grabbed it for ya. I can do whatever you want. I can ship it to you, we could meet somewhere, or if you want to wait till the 11th ill be at that autocross in sac. Just let me know. (209-712-7304) I really did want a ride in your car but there were no fun runs so oh well, maybe next time.

glad jeff found ben's cell... school is over so i dont go to sac on a daily basis anymore otherwise i could have just swing by ben's work or house and drop it off. i do know a couple of people at big valley ford that lives in sacramento/elk grove area if you want me to ask them about bringing it and saving you some shipping money. let me know...

i actually live 45 miles north of sac but work in woodland, shipping is probably less than gas so it is probably easier for me since i don't have a lot of spare time these days.

Sorry I missed out on the AutoX guys. But like I had mentioned earlier I'm currently stuck in BFE Texas. I'll be back on June 4th and will make the AutoX at Mather Field on the 11th. The TII won't be there, but Berry and I will be to take pictures for all of you and to cheer you all on!!
