PM Karack on this forum. He is one of the best engine builders/porters in all of NorCal. Plus he has the best prices and warranty. I think that you'll hear this statement several times in this thread.

Rotary Evolution basic pricing

ok since i am tired of typing out my estimates i will just do it here and keep this link for reference, base short block rebuild prices have gone up slightly but i still believe they are the cheapest you will find in California by any reputable shop:

base short block rebuilds(not including internally damaged engine parts)(the prices include reused rotors/housings/irons but any items can be replaced with brand new ones as the owner sees fit for additional costs)(new parts include: Atkins apex seals and springs, side seal springs, FD corner seal springs, viton oil control o-rings, OEM seals and gaskets and some various installation gaskets):

13B N/A - $1400
13B TII - $1500
13B REW - $1600

good condition used rotors/housings/irons replacements for rebuilds:

13B N/A - $100
13B TII - $125
13B S5/S6 - $150

new part prices are comprised of the lowest price brand new market items, i do not markup prices for a profit so what you can find them for is what you pay.

porting:

all streetports - $250
half bridge - $350
full bridge - $400
other - depends on requirements, machine shop labor will vary depending on needs

engine removal and reinstallation (price includes engine oil, oil filter, new vacuum and fuel lines and engine coolant) comprehensive parts are additional(such as thermostat, hoses, belts, etc.) modified vehicles the price may be less since some cars have no emissions/AC/PS/etc:

FC - $800
FD - $900

at this time the wait for an engine removal/reinstall with rebuild is 1.5 months, i can squeeze in short block rebuilds sooner but the wait is still several weeks.

there is a $500 deposit required to cover the cost of rebuild parts and to be sure that no one flakes on a $2000+ rebuild.

shop labor rate is $60/hour but i am flexible since i am open to be sure all rotary vehicles have a place on the road rather than growing in a field somewhere. i do custom fabrication work as well.

if you have any further questions you can PM me directly on this forum or PM me for my shop number as i like to get to know my customers.

you will see FBs are not listed nor are 12As, personally there is very little interest in putting money into them but i can do them by request, i just have not put together a price for them yet.

Rotary Evolution is located 45 minutes north of Sacramento in Yuba City California.

also to note, i never misrepresent my work, any pics you may see of my rebuilds are as you will recieve them. i put pride into detail and it shows through my work - i hope that didn't sound like i am full of myself but if you can't take pride in your work what can you take pride in?
