Mazdatrix or Rotary Power USA?

I'm located in southern california and I'm looking for a decent shop to have my engine rebuild and turbo kit installed.

Does anyone here have any experiences with Mazdatrix or Rotary Power USA? These are the two shops that I know of. I dont have much to say about them except that both shops are lagging on my quote request. I've been waiting for a feedback from Mazdatrix for more than a month now. But the people there seem to not car about it so much. Jeff at Rotary Power USA is a little friendlier but is also lagging on my quote request. Anyone have any thoughts to share? Are there any decent shops in souther California area that I can bring my car to? =(

In the world of FD's engine replacement is the norm so don't expect special treatment (meaning they will all lag).

Go check out RnR rotary in upland. I got my engine rebuilt there after asking advice. They are 140 miles from my house (yes there are much closer shops) but its certainly worth it. Steve is the main mechanic, he is a stand up guy who does in fact stand by his work that is why I keep going back to him.

909-593-8080 ask for Steve and tell him Elliot From San Diego sent you.

If you are having a single put in then go with XS-Engineering. If they are out of your budget then try Neptunespeed.

oh what another 3rd gen in walnut. i'd say mazdatrix but its a long drive from walnut. where is rotary power usa never heard. you can also try lucky7racing in el monte, i'd say that'd be the best place to go to within walnuts radius. i can tell you from my experience not to go to a place called jpr in la habra. and probably not r&r in upland because my friend had a bad experience there. another pretty good place is rotary reliability and racing in santa ana. not too far of a drive its like going to south coast plaza. next time search though its not that hard.

mine was done at rotary reliability and racing before i bought it! seems to run strong after 30k miles so.....comp is alittle low but even on all faces and that could have been due to previous owner so...but i guess you cant go wrong with mazda trix!

first off... do a freaking search for this kind of thing. Did you really think that this hasn't been asked a thousand times already?

second... Yoshiya's a great guy. You can't go wrong with him.
