He won't be ready untill about January. Very small shop. Very nice guy. He's been here since '96. He has datalogic and wideband for tuning. He has a tight blue FC with a TD06. It has a trick dual oil cooler setup like a v-mount. I was quoted about $300 (tune only) to upgrade my tune from 10lbs to 15lbs and an entire day to do it and assuming no non-tune work being needed.
If you need a tune right away, there is Signal Auto in LA county. I'm not shure if XS Engineering is ready. I'll have to call them again.

OK, called XS and they don't know when their dyno will be hooked up as they are awaiting the people to do it and there is no estimate from them. So they may be ready in January but that is just a guess. I would imagine Neptunespeed is going throught he same thing.

^ Same city, pretty close but not the same section as their old shop (XS is now in Westminster). It's a few blocks from Beach/Warner and not far from the 405. It's in one of the small business plaza things that have like 10 companys per building.
OK, so I just spoke with Signal Auto Usa and found out that their tech that tuned the Endless FD is no longer there. The new tech has done some rotary's but I think they Specialize in Nissan (240, 350). I would have to go there and see if I would be comfortable with him.
I have not seen any work from Neptunespeed but he does have a trick *** FC that he built and tuned, so he is rotary savy.

This guy have a website? How about some proof of his reputation/tuning ability? (would like to see a "tuning resume" and see/hear people's cars he's tuned--whether or not the customer was satisfied). Sounds like there's still a pretty strong market for people who need to tune their rotaries in SoCA.
EDIt: Looks like he does have a website. Don't forget the "English" link on the bottom of the main page or just go here: http://www.neptunespeed.com/index-e.html

*bump* for a great shop and owner.
Thanks for posting the info up trigger!
Yoshiya is truly a nice guy and knows his stuff when i comes to rotary. If you're in the area stop by and check it out. He worked on my jspec turbo swap and many other cars.
here's some snaps of his blue fc and my red from sevenstock.
before he was blue...

I found my mechanic!
Great shop and great mechanics. Thanks to TR1GGERx1 for this thread--I've found a mechanic for my FD that I can trust. Here's my write-up in the Good Guy, Bad Guy section: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...89#post6470389
