wow this is almost as bad as that body shop 350z thread.

a year? One ******* year for an auto to manual swap? That is the most absurd thing ive ever heard, and you should demand your money back. Thats completely unacceptable.

I work in parts for a dealership, and shouldnt take more than two business days to get a SPO (special order) part. So waiting a week here and a week there for "parts" is utter bullshit.

I think I know what this guy is trying to do. By making it seem he will help you fix your car or w/e. He charges you for parts, get a little of it done and uses that money to work on his car.

What a scum bag.

Maz - i feel really bad for you man.. Crazy thing is I did my swap in november and that was that. sucks that there are people out there who will seriously screw you over.

zonblitz - you have an awesome car (own that issue of modmag), but anyways its really fishy that this guy is going from 2 addresses. Small claims court would probably be the best way.

good luck to both of you.

zonblitz all your info is correct. He still livesthere, and his number is the same. I sent you a pm telling you when I go home ill let you know more info. But I know that info is correct.

btw, Mario is his brother and owns some type of mechanic shop himself. But Mark is different, although you can get them mixed up.

and Zonblitz, I remember seeing a series 8 transmission crated up and he had it on the back of his ram-charger. Not sure if ever sent it to you or not but I do know he had it in a crate.
wherther it ever got there or not, I dont know. GL!

Well Ive been away for awhile and got back on top of this.

Car was finally finsihed, and is running good. Just a few things here and there before its better. I got a WTB thread covering the rest of what I needed now.

Thanks all for your advice, and I know Im bringing this thread out of the woodwork, but I figured atleast a small update is due.

Transmission is in (although it grinds 5th -.-) all the work he did was good quality, work ethic can be questioned but so far no issues, with the work he did complete.

As of now... literally 3+ years later. My car is smogged, and sitting in my drive way.... the new RZ suspension I picked up and installed helped my ride a lot as well.

Anyway, after so long, and this thread still active; Im pleased to tell the moderators to close it. I again, thank all of you for your advice and helpfulness. Hopefully I can get the few parts I still need soon to finish what has taken already to long in the first place.

Just read your thread. Im glad to see you got your car back. Just do yourself a huge favor and take your car to Lucky7 or somewhere else where people can vouche for them. GL on any future projects.
