I Know You Waited Till The Last Minute LOL
I really wanted to touch up some nicks in the paint and I can't find anyone who has the color I need, or an auto parts store that even carries touch up paint for Mazda. Even the dealer doesn't stock up touch up paint. I can't even find my PPG paint for my bumper.

Man, I never claybarred before, and that crap takes some TIME... and sweat, on a 100+ deg. day.
I don't know how they expect you to cover the whole car with those ittybitty hunks of clay, but I got it all on there.
How long am I supposed to wait before I peel it off?

Not sure, but I found out yesterday was a bad time to wax a car. It embedded itself to my car so I had to get the wax off by getting it wet with a detail spray. It it just way to hot for this ****.

Car was ready by 9:30pm... but the heat did me in. Ended up in the damn hospital (yeah, Wacky, I'm whining... I earned it! lol) getting pumped full of IV's.
Car looks grand, though. In my garage.

Seems I've done nothing but sleep, go to work, and work on this car for weeks and weeks, and there's still a bunch of stuff I won't have time to do, though none of it is a gamestopper.
My final checklist at this point is wash, wax, vacuum, and adjust the rear brakes. If I have time, I'll try to shoot a little fresh black paint down around the strut tops, if I can get them clean enough without making a mess in the engine bay & without taking them out.
I decided to burn a vacation day tomorrow to do the final bits & rest up. Hope I don't get heatstroke - - it was farking hot yesterday. 105 at the house when I got home just after four.
Makes me wish I had time and funds tomorrow to the get the AC recharged.
