And i know a few of you hell alot of you waited to get the little odds and ends done at the last minute...lol..Whos doing what, who needs to still do what, who needs to buy what...

I have a laundry list of things to do...lol...

Im waxing my car as we speak..
Taking my rear ax off to put new extension lug nuts in
Painting my last and final Rim black
Still need to mount My external jumper post, windsheild moldings and, wash and clean the engine bay...

Hell the list goes on...hahahahaha

 

**** i just need to put in my tII lip on my car and find tires and mount my new rims on

 

in the end no matter what, how small or big the list is...its still a pain in the ***...

-I need to install my rattle can paint job hood
-Sand and buff some exterior parts
-Buy a cap asembly and install
-Install my headers
-Clean interior
-I couldnt find a driverside headlight cover forsale so i took the other 1 off and it didnt look that bad
-Also have to rent a trailer
-I need to find a sticker that could cover up a crack on my bumper
-need to mount my new tires if i have time

Thats about it.

 

I don't think im gonna be able to get it done only because of work and such, but I still wanted to get my SS brake lines and calipers installed.......:bumber: I still need to get it washed and detailed.....damnit!

I was thinking about changing front seats since this is such a big deal and all. I hope to get that done today.

 

I am pushing it big time. My Fc has been at the paint shop for month now but I got a lot done. All that's left to do is:

- E fan
- Headlight covers
- Cooling panel
- Buffing out all blemishes
-Detail the **** out of the interior!!!

 

Seems I've done nothing but sleep, go to work, and work on this car for weeks and weeks, and there's still a bunch of stuff I won't have time to do, though none of it is a gamestopper.

My final checklist at this point is wash, wax, vacuum, and adjust the rear brakes. If I have time, I'll try to shoot a little fresh black paint down around the strut tops, if I can get them clean enough without making a mess in the engine bay & without taking them out.

I decided to burn a vacation day tomorrow to do the final bits & rest up. Hope I don't get heatstroke - - it was farking hot yesterday. 105 at the house when I got home just after four.

Makes me wish I had time and funds tomorrow to the get the AC recharged.

 

Finished preparation* yesterday. Sitting under the car cover waiting for the o dark 30 drive to Irvine Saturday.

*Are out cars EVER finished? This is more like a stopping point for 7stock.

Im not doing ****. Ill wash my car tomarrow. but theres not much i can do with the nice dent my sister put in the side of my car. Not till after this weekend at least.

 

all i really have to do is detail the car, but imma try getting a temp. moving pass for the car today. if not, still not stopping me from making this event. hahaha

the rx8 is all prepped and ready to go, it'll be in the showcase area with all the other race cars.

life's easy... haha yeah right... hopefully i'll have the vert done by next year, so i can blow peoples minds!!!

Got parts for at least three projects that I can't start until after "showtime." Which now includes SSXII and JCCS.
