Why the change in location?

 

i will be there. bringin the fd. gonna meet up with the I.E. folk once a meet up location is decided

i should be there, can't tell what will happen with the military, but i graduate the course i am in now sep 11th and i am planning on taking leave through the event to make sure i can come

my dilemma is having a bad *** supercharged FC and a stock *** R2.. which to bring... someone want to drive one ?? (dumb question right?) If i can time it right I will meet up with you guys in san clemente somewhere, i am at the basilone road area just past the weight station

at any rate the Mazda HQ is the 'new' location, it has been for a few years, i am sure some still don't know that

 

Mike keep in mind that even if you manage to bring both of the cars you won't be able to keep them together during the show.

Unfortunately all the cars get split into generations makes complete sense but at the same time this sucks a** bc we can't hang in a group

yea that does suck, its okay though, just pop the hood, lock the doors and enjoy the show...

umbrella... i didn't go last year but the year before it rained its *** off...

 

i remember that..it rained then the sun came out and it was hot..then it rained then hot..that was quite the event.

im going for sure..bringing the first gen, i brought the second gen last year so..

- 6:00AM and 10:00AM, somewhat like the last few years?

I'll be going with the later crowd. I've already had my time in the main lot. Besides, the overflow lot had a rather nice collection lined up over there.

Also, who is going to the banquet and staying overnight?

I'm going to head up with the early cats I suppose.

 

Last Year we had a group leave SD on friday evening and i ended up booking a room at the Double tree and over stayed until sunday afternoon.

If you are considering on going up early for the weekend and booking a room at the hotel this is a great option.

I believe that they are holding the banquet at the Doulble tree again this year.
Most of the out of towners stay @ the DT for an awesome SS event weekend.

 

I'm going also. I haven't been to this event yet, I am really looking forward to it. I will most likely be going with the early birds. What time you going up Mike(merryguy)?

 

Most likely there will be one group leaving on friday and then one group on saturday morning early to make staging at the event.
