Help needed

Just got my FD back from a rebuild. I've only had my FD for 2 drivable days since my purchase months ago. So, I'm a newb and I have a few questions (below) I could really use secondary counsel on. I appreciate any help you guys have to offer.

*Every three seconds, I hear a "putt" sound from the exhaust (misfiring? too rich?) and the idle sometimes bounces between 1.2-1.5rpm. Does anyone know if this can be caused by an old engine harness alone? Maybe it's the rebuild...or my M2 ecu, or another compression problem (dang it, I shoulda got one to make sure my seals were fixed).

*I could use a referral to a helpful smog place in the LA region for my substantially modded FD. A referral would be greatly appreciated. PM me, pls.

*I have a J&S knock sensor, but have no idea what it is. What is it and what good it does me?

*What are possible reasons why my A/C blows air but sn't very cold? Or, is that normal?

*Also, does anyone know how I can fix my oil temperature sensor... which is usually remaining below C...but sometimes comes up to ~40% and other times way past H?

*When I checked the AST, coolant, and PSF, the liquids all have mud-looking gunk in it. Is that normal? I don't think RR&R did anything...it's probably just due to age. But still, how does mud get into the coolant fluid and AST?

The best thing to do is to sell the FD or PM Wackyracer or GoofyRotor for a smog hookup.

I know never had the hook-ups btw.

reads knock... check out j&s's website and read up on it.

any a/c shop can figure that out. it's not a rotary-specific thing. maybe the shop that did your motor discharged the system?

bad wiring, bad gauge, or maybe sometimes your oil is cold, sometimes it's warm, and sometimes it's too hot. have someone look at it.

just flush the coolant. irons rust over time and add gunk to the system. whoever rebuilt the motor probably didn't flush out the radiator, so even though the motor was probably clean, there might have been crap leftover in the radiator and heater core. drain it, flush it, refill it...problem solved.

All those problems can be fixed easily if you research the solutions. I have a good friend that teaches HVAC at a local college. He is top notch, if you need ac work done by a pro hit me up. He is in Torrance. Big time gearhead too. I can help with the rest off your issues as well.

If you can come down to torrance, no problem. He is super cool. He got a few hogs, and a cherry 67 camaro. He lives down the street from my uncle.
