more closer to fresno area
I'd like to go and run some rc cars against each other (I want to run someone over, heh heh) but I'm not 100% on how the schedule is working on that yet, And its in Exeter, 15 miles more eastbound from visalia. maybe when it warms up a little bit more.
Anybody know of any car events/shows??(other than our own lol)
or maybe just meeting up at another restaurant again.

Is there a link to a website that you could provide to that. something to check out for a possible meet location.
(just a suggestion) You guys want to come over to Chilli's in Visalia for the meet? Couple other things nearby as well (panera bread, Round Table, Mimis cafe, buffalo wild wings), something to keep us out of the cold.
Three I's should have it

Snap, if you don't put your name on the list for the meet that you suggested, I will cry. You don't want to see me cry, do you? Water comes out my eyes. My EYES, Jaime. Its a terrible and frightening sight, so do us all a favor and put your name on the list.

Yeah? Dude I was just thinking of getting ahold of you, too. Glad to see you're still lurking around this thread. Hopefully next time.
Moua, you down? I don't even know where to find Ricky, I think he's only on 8club. Anyone else?

Dunno who on here I've told, but back in August we spent a week in ICU at the Fresno Children's Hospital, our 12 year old son (then 11) was diagnosed with Type-1 Diabetes. He requires insulin shots with every meal, after dinner and sometimes before bed (that's 4 shots a day minimum). As such, we can't leave him alone (yet) or with any babysitter. We have to offset our work schedules so one of us is with him at all times.
Diabetes meds aren't fully covered by insurance, I'm guessing because most diabetics are type-2 (overweight) and can mostly help themselves. Here is some quick reading on Type-1 and how it's different. Also please read, so you can see that Type-1 is not something that could've been prevented or is something we caused. We've been told, "Well you shouldn't have let him eat so much sugar!" I really just want to beat people for that, but instead I remind myself that it's just their ignorance to the difference between type-1 and type-2.
You can see how my schedule filled up really quickly; both working more (a week in ICU wasn't cheap and ongoing prescriptions) and my lack of free time.
Also got engaged. Our tentative date is June 22 at Shell Beach.
I haven't abandoned the rotary scene, but that's kinda where I've been.
