Not sure, I may just not be able to make it. I have to get a hold of the guy, drive down and pic up the parts car before I can start swapping stuff lol. Soon though haha

I'm trying to drop hints that he should. And by "dropping hints" I mean "spamming his Facebook with demands of a 20B swap until he caves."

As far as things being set in stone, we're still trying to gauge interest. As it stands Kat, Ken, and I are still going to hit the planned meet spot in case anyone shows, and Joey thinks he and Ricky will make it. The Lemoore guys should show, too. I'll repost the list in case you missed it.

I wasn't sure if my wife was going to take a break from her H.W., It's been hectic for her. Me as well, just assumed she'd want to finish writing her essays (12, one for every week, and more to come) and tons of online quizzes. She wants to take a break so we're coming out, yay.

Lol kat needs to go 20b first before me. I'm still trying to go 6speed but I need a truck to pick up the donor car from la, and possibly assistance on install

Another possibility: Kyle Mohan is currently selling motor mounts for putting the FD engine in an 8.

BTW, y'all might be interested in the slight bit of progress coming from my new project car.

Well, I got a boost gauge on the Supra and took it out for a quick spin to see what I'm boosting. The previous owner said it dyno'ed at 370 whp at 15psi. However, that was without a catalytic converter, so the exhaust flow was so fast that it was bypassing the wastegate. Now that there's a catalyic in it, turns out the wastegate is actually keeping the boost at the STOCK 10psi now.

I expected the cat might bring it down a bit but at 10psi it's probably only making about 280whp. That's a LOT lower than I thought... and keep in mind the car doesn't feel slow to me at all. My father even admits the car is pretty fast, and that dude is used to big-block Corvettes with hot cams and twin four-barrel carburetors. So if we lock the wastegate down until 15psi, it could be back to making 370 at the wheels. That's nearly 100hp more, in a car that isn't even slow to begin with.

So to make a short story long, I ordered a boost controller. I ordered it so fast the internet was smoking a little when I was done. And once I've got the wastegate set to 15psi, I get to see what an immediate 100hp bump feels like.

Moua, where are you? It's time to rock and roll.

I'm still lurking around on here.....I've been busy lately trying to get the yamaha R1 running. I succeeded and now its sold. As for the 15th there's no promises from me currently. I'll try to make it though.

Pat, what wastegate do you have? I have some left over springs from my Tials.

I'm just running the factory internal wastegate. Trying to keep it as stock as possible considering the trouble I'm having passing smog.

Ladies and gentlemen, on December 13th, 2012, after two months of beating my head against the wall and cursing the State of California, my car finally passed smog. I can has license plates now.

Saddens me to see an r3 in that condition, that motor is easily worth about 3k+ too much of a drive though lol

Great looking Supra Pat. Great seeing a variety of cars at the meet. Hopefully you guys didn't get kicked out after I left with a little "bang".

Nope, your bang was so glorious that the car gods saw fit to guard us from intervention. I just wish y'all coulda stayed to see the small stunt I pulled later in the aforementioned Supra.

My fellow rotary enthusiasts,

I will no longer be formulating meets as of today. I am retiring from the position and abandoning the crew. I wish you all the best with your builds, projects, future meets, and most importantly with your lives.
