I agree. A year ago you could pick up a FD for 3k-5k less than what they are now. I bought my first running fd with good modification on it in 2012 for 8k. I see similar setups on other cars but they are asking around 13k or so.

I guess for those who have an FD it is a good thing that prices went up but for those who want to get into an FD, not so much.

Good luck on your search if you decide to get another FD

If there is enough interest in coming to Bakersfield, I may be willing to host a BBQ at my house this summer. I have a pool and big driveway.

Is anyone interested in making this happen? Let me know

Hey Guys!!!!!!

I was wondering if I could reach out to you guys for a little support.

I just woke up from dreaming this thinking ("oh snap, the rx7club"). It's 4:30am. My Wife's best friend of over 20 yrs passed away last weekend. We started a gofundme account to help with her funeral expenses. It turns out you need social media TO HELP IT SPREAD, my wife and I are not on any Facebook, twitter, etc... accounts. We have it posted on my mother and father in laws FB page but not much activity with it there.

I know we haven't spoke with you guys in long time but I hope we're still in some of your guys' minds. If any of you guys could post to your FB pages and share it or even donate we would be so grateful.

My wife is on the right her friend is on the left.
http://www.gofundme.com/v6e9yr4c

This site takes 5% of what you give to fund their website, but what ever is raised I will personally cover the 5% to make it the true value of the donations.

Thank you guys, and God bless you for any help.

Nieto

Woh! Yea haven't posted here in forever. Haven't owned a 7 that was driveable in about 8 years. Makes me sad. Rx7 meets were so much fun back in the day. Hope everyone is well. I intend to buy an FD again some day. Hopefully in the next 5 years.
