In cali, do we need front plates?
My opinion is that it will get me my car back faster when some dumb kids trys to steal it and joyride it.
(actually it would be pretty hard for anyone to steal my cars, they all have RFID ignition switches, and at least one security system (the 10thAE and RX-8 have two in addition to the RFID ignition... so it would be tow truck time anyway... but that is besides the point.
If you don't break the law, the system doesn't do anything... and no one wants to crunch all the data for 10,000 cars that a patrol car drives by just to try and net one person.
It is not different than the Iris scan system, that has your birthdate, residence, credit number, etc.
