Ive got busted for no front plates twice (lamest law in california =\ ). Wanna know the trick to getting away with it??
Make sure you have the front plate under your passenger seat lol. Just show it to them, and let em know it just came off or something lol. It worked the past 3 times I got pulled over for it.

Lots of traffic, even though we avoided the "high traffic" areas, we still were on the freeway for about 2 hours lol.
