It looks like we're good on the meat front so I'll change my reply to smores stuff rather that worry about marinating something hard core ahead of time.

So y'all don't think I'm wussing out... Do you know what the one problem with smores is? It's so hard to get the chocolate to melt! I've got a solution... You drill a hole through the center of a Reeces cup and sandwhich it between two marshmellows and roast the whole thing.

Presto: nicely melted chocolate peanutbutter smores! They're awesome.

Only table I can fit in my FC is a stupid little mermaid table that is 2 ft high and 2 feet wide LOL.

Hey guys, look out for traffic on the 91. Do not travel on the 91 if you're coming from San Bernardino/Inland Empire...!!! There is a huge fire that has several of the lanes on the 91 W over by Yorba Linda blocked off. It took us almost 2 hours to drive out from San Bernardino to Costa Mesa. Check the news for details and updates. See you guys there, stay safe!

Joel got pulled over on the way home .

The 91E was closed at the 55 when I got there, had to double back and hit the 60E to get home.

It was good to meet all of you guys again! It's been a while

 

joel, you got pulled over huh.. that sucks! what did they pop you for?


the turnout was great!!! great food, great people! beautiful weather (minus the fire cloud) ...but all in all, a great event maybe we can do it again next year, but we can all figure out a good date that doesnt lie on a big drift event, or a day where half of socal is burning

 

Here are the best pictures i took. I had a great time. got to see some familur faces and soem new ones. food was great weather was perfect drive down was a little long. Love to go again next year.
