said it was raining all day.
In the end it was really cool just talking about rotaries and the times Dave was at Lucky 7 helping out. Can't wait to the next meet,I think there
should be more outhere supporting the Rx7 Club or Other Clubs.By the way the
Food was good, alot of people missed out.
Thanks to the poeple who washed my car, they did a good job.

hi Everyone,
Just a brief note to express my love and appreciation for all of you who were Davids' friends. Thank you for all the money.. It will help more than you know. Special thank you to "The lucky 7 crew" and Jesse and speeddemon and Juan and the list goes on and on. At a later time I will try to thank all of you individually. Again than you for being so kind to David and understamding him. We love you and you are forever part of our family. Love,
Daves Mom

Heres a few pictures I took of everything thats been done for Dave. If you want a higher resolution version of any picture, let me know and I'll send it your way. CLICK HERE FOR PICTURES!
Thanks! I think I have more pictures I didnt put in there but for the most part, those were the best ones. I normally would have taken more pictures but I forgot to because I was pretty freakin' tired. I work the graveyard shift so I got out of work in the morning and just had time to freshen up at home before heading out to the cruise and bbq. Too bad I didnt get any pictures of the food. The hot sauce chicken at the end and the coronas hit the spot. Hopefully I wont be super tired next time and take more pictures of everything.

My friendship with Dave started about 4-5 years ago when i met up with him a block away from his memorial service (40th and Waterman Avenue). I drove all the way from Los Angeles to pick up an alternator he sold me for my 1st RX7. Dave was this honest guy who insisted to have the alternator checked at the closest Autozone before i would drive back home. Ever since then, Dave and I became friends and would chat on AIM every chance we had.
Sandi (Dave's MOM)- i dont know if you remember but Dave, one time, took us to your place up there in Crestline because he wanted to show me and a friend what i believe was the 1st rotary engine that he built. He built the engine in that small room in your house (cant remember if it was a basement or storage).. It was very cold that night and i think it was after the big fire that had just happened in your area. Dave had told us the story about his experience during that fire because it came too close to your place. It was also the time when i saw how Dave was very very close to you. ***sigh*** I will definitely miss Dave.. Dave would also share to me his pains when his relantionship were on the down side. He had a big heart!.
I also remember the time in Hesperia when Dave helped me pull 2 motors then install my motor into another FC then get it running because the owner needed to drive the car back to san francisco that same day. I was so burned out but Dave with his strong stamina finished the car on time...Not to mention Dave did most of the work and didnt charge alot.
I was at the service but could not make it to the drive and car wash. Dave will always be in my heart and prayers.

Saturday, when desending down the canyon (HWY18) I saw five RX7's going up the mountain... just curious - was something going on? The first person that I thought of was Dave... I am sorry to say that I never met Dave, but his spirit lives on for every single time that I pass lower Bonnie Canyon he crosses my mind... Guess I could say that I, through this message board got to meet Dave and his BIG heart. He left way too soon...
RIP Dave, from a Crestline Resident...
