The Z guys and the MR2 guys have been givin links to some of our threads.
We have a couple donations from the other boards, So I feel my posts there have been worthwhile. Appreciation for their generosity has been expressed on their boards already, so let me say here . . .
Thank you to everyone who has contributed.

P.S. - I still say the rotary people are the coolest.

Though the only speaking we've ever done was through this forum and his sarcastic answers to my questions, his death hits home like it does for so many of us. I always knew that he was a great guy, even if I've never met him. I believe he would be proud of how much support the rotary community is showing him now. He should be happy that he had a positive impact on our community and so many of his friends. I'm so sorry for the poor girl and Dave's family. Donation sent...it's the least I could do for everything he's done for rotor heads.

I don't think Dave had an angry bone in his body. Even him him and I had our differences at times, he never got angry or raised his voice or anything. He always kept his cool. On a personal level, Dave as a great guy... I did business with him about a bit over a year ago and he was always calm even when I was trying to rush him. I saw him at Sevenstock and I talked to him on AIM every now and again... great guy, he'll be missed.

I am trying as hard as I can to get as many as I can for this saturday...... at this moment I dont have any clue how many wil be ready..... as I said before, the ones for this saturday are mostly for the out of towners (like you) that will not be here for the run. those of you comming to the run can pick yours up NEXT saturday (giving me more time to get some made up).

also as I said before, there is no set price. I want donations. YOU decide how much they are worth. (but be realistic, dont give me $1 for a decal, that doesnt even cover cost to make them)

Turbo2FC3s, what the status on your decals?

we have over $1,200.00

wow we are doing GREAT!

I need advice, when do you guys think we should give the money to Dave's Family?

This saturday at the funeral give them a check and then whatever we make after that at the car wash give them in another check?

OR...

Do we tell Dave's family how much we have gathered so far and once we finish our car wash and other donations we will give it to them.

Thanks for the update fris. I am cutting more as we speak.

...... I dont know, they might need what we can give them NOW, but they might not need it right this second either????? It would be nice to hand over one big *** check, but at the same time if they need it now, then I say give it to them. should we maybe ask one of the sisters what they prefer?

I think it would be nice to also somehow put the names or forum names of everybody on a card, etc that contributed to show how many people have been supportive of the hard times. I think you should give them a check at the funeral, and then tell them that there will be more to come.
