^I can fully understand from a business perspective why the 20B ITBs would be way on the back burner. I mean in all honesty how many people on this forum have 20Bs, and out of them how many would purchase his ITB setup? He may sell a handful, dozen at best? Thats precisely why Ive started to piece together my own setup.. but it would be nice to have a well designed off the shelf option (and since they mentioned way back when they were planning on it I like to keep nagging )

well... tweakit and efihardware both sell 20b ITB kits... they are not really all that affordable... but when youre building a 20b, what really is affordable... ya know.

what we really need is an 20b intake manifold thatll work with ITBs... trying to find someone thatll make one is actually kinda tough.

Tweakit and efihardware sell the throttles themselves, but I dont believe either of the sell a complete intake manifold to use with them (correct me if Im wrong?) Thats what Id be interested in, a complete "bolt up" intake an ITB system.

I can't imagine a nut and bolt weight more than a few ounces.

Combine the weight savings of an rx8 e shaft, with the titanium nuts and bolts and such, and a lighter main pulley and you have a combination that is pretty righteous.

Has anyone determined what the max HP/torque you can run on an OEM RX8 e-shaft before theres an issue?

I do not know about max, but there are some guys with turboed rennys at 500whp already. I do not believe the RX8 e-shaft is a weak point.

Glen Weaver at AZRR had an issue with an RX-8 e-shaft failing on him, it was chronicled on another forum......

i wonder what the weight savings would be with the Ti parts?

just front pulley both, flywheel bolt and stud kit, right?

The stud kit won't reduce rotating mass.

My main thing is for a build that is looking at autocrossing and not much more than 400-425 whp, I don't think the rx8 eshaft would be bad.

Thanks Rich. Since its pretty inconclusive weather it can withstand the power or not and there has been issues already with it, I'll stick to my REW shaft .

So nobody knows the weights on the stock flywheel nut and the pulley bolt?

What is the inner diameter of the FD exhaust?

I'd like to buy one with a high flow cat if the whole exhaust is 3" ID

this may be way too expensive and impracticable but since you guys have a selection of Ti parts. Any possibility of a titanium e-shaft? I have seen aluminum rotors but no one has attempted to reduce the weight of the e-shaft.

Guys,

I just saw the site and guess what I found? The V-Mount kit for the FD is up for sale.

For Rotary-Works : Can you guys supply some more detail picture of the FD v-Mount kit. I am very interested in this kit, however I would like to see the position of the kit itself.

Do you guys actually have a bracket set like the FC V-mount kit available? Would it this kit work with a Fluidyne radiator instead? But if not, i'll just sell mine instead.
