Damn guys... 9 pages of threads moved over. Someone's been busy. A big thank you to the moderators. I'm actually excited about the extra visibility into our little world.

Question: I'd like to cross post my build thread over here... I know that's helped a lot of folks through the years. It seems like that would be an aid to anyone doing a v8 swap.

The problem, and the only reason I haven't done an Rx7club build thread to date, is that I want the ability to edit my posts after the fact. Without it, my ability to add new hot links to the first post goes out the window. Also even though I've been doing this since 2005, I'm still learning things as I go and I want to be able to update posts.

If you think I'm worthy I might suggest this would be a decent additional up top so K-Doe (aka Mr. Humility) wouldn't be the only sticky.

Is there any way to give user's moderator rights for a particular thread?

I can't speak to giving users privileges over their thread, but I can certainly can apply changes for you if you want.

I would not mind having some version of my build thread here or the 044 pump installs but I really dont want to deal with a flame war that could happen.

 

i doubt you will have the strict rotorheads pissing on your threads if you start banning them from this subforum. it was allowed everywhere else previously but that's not the case anymore

mods are already in place, I had suggested d-solo and frijolee- glad you got the position.

granted the next swap i have coming is going to be a 2JZ into an FC, so no place for the peeny weeny 6 cylinder swaps.. but to keep the rotards happy i also have a Morris minor owner interested in a 13B swap.
