swap comparison question
swap comparison question
I think my little rotary is on its way out soon. I bought it with a parts car thinking i could use the parts and also use the parts car to fab up some engine mounts so that a swap could be done more quickly in my daily driver. I'm still really torn between the 302 vs 350 swaps. I know the 302's pretty well having owned and worked on multiple mustangs so I feel comfortable working with them. As far as money is concerned I'm under the impression a 350 swap would be a little easier on my wallet. I'm in college so downtime and money are both big factors in what I decide. I'm hoping the little 1.3 will last until the summer so I can have free time to work on it but it's not inspiring any confidence. What would anyone here recommend 302 or 350?

Edit: I would probably be going with a carb setup on either one for simplicity sake and because my wiring in the car is already toast and I just have learned to hate wiring.

350, in my opinion. That's what I have
I don't really feel like typing a lot at the moment, there are a bunch of threads in this section you can look through and learn from. Also check out www.torquecentral.com as there's a V8 section specifically devoted to Rx7/V8 swaps. You'll learn everything you need to know.
