Wow. Got to love the aerodynamics of the FD. Good job you guys. I can't wait to see this thing bust 220. Other than fixing the current issues, are you planning on changing anything before your next run in TX?

I have seen the video of the Silver State Challenge "Big Red" ran in, that thing is a beast for sure!

The plan is to replace the rear main seal, install a vacuum pump, and turn up the boost in TX gradually. Hopefully we didn't injure the motor at the last event. It had a massive oil leak from overpressurizing the crankcase.

There is another 300rwhp on tap with the boost controller we haven't even touched yet. The FD has killer aerodynamics and mainly a small frontal area is the key to running so fast with such little power. Currently it is geared for 235mph in 5th.

"Big Red" makes over 1000hp flywheel HP and ran 207-210mph at Mojave. It is a well engineered race car; however suffers from from 1960's technology with its poor aerodynamics. It uses brute power to overcome that and some modified body panels to make it more slippery thru the air.

The results:
http://www.mojavemile.com/2010_MMS2_Final_Results.pdf

4th fastest car there and tied for 2nd fastest real street car at the event. Low boost. 300rwhp+ left on tap
